"Staff were nice, the room was well-furnished for the price (included towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel). The room had a hairdryer, kettle, mugs, with milk/tea/sugar etc. It also had a TV, with a Netflix account already provided. The Google reviews seem to be outdated/don't match, as we were right next to the stairs and didn't hear any noises. It has wifi and the keycard made for easy and secure access. There's street parking around and an RCP carpark near it, plus a bus stop 20 second walk away....

"Although there was an issue with my booking on arrival (I had a confirmation but it hadn’t been received by the hotel), they were great about it and didn’t hesitate to get me a room organised. I was a late arrival and the kitchen had closed but again the team sorted me something to eat. The room was great and breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommended!"

"Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."
