"Think of it as luxury camping and you'll be happy. If your idea of comfort is umbrella drinks by the pool, you will not. Personally, I loved it. But it's not for everyone. This is a rustic cabin in the jungle. 4.5 miles off the main road, 2.2 miles of it is dirt (well maintained, regular cars not a problem). 15 minute drive to nearest civilization (the part of the description being in the middle of a historic town is inaccurate - it's 7 miles outside a historic town). "The treehouse was pretty cool. It's in a quiet neighborhood a block or so from the ocean. At night the place turns into a jungle experience with all the sounds you might expect (frogs, birds, etc). The grounds is beautiful and the place is very unique. It reminded me of our Northwoods cabin but with all the luxuries of a modern home (ac, Internet, huge shower, nice kitchen).
