"It was a lovely stay. My family and I enjoyed the amenities. The house was stocked with extra supplies from soap, sunscreen, toothbrushes, and toys for the pool. Such a peaceful and relaxing neighborhood. The yard was well kept and perfect to walk around first thing in the morning. We will stay here again. Thank you for opening your house to us. "

"This property is special because of the amazing abundance of plants and flowers on the property, including a river and waterfall!! The night was a symphony of sounds, birds and frogs at night. We also enjoyed the communual netted gazebo on the patio with fairy lights. There is internet, but no cell service meant we didn't spend time on the phone, and why would we in this paradise :) "

"This is a comfortable home in a quiet Waimea neighborhood. There’s a beautiful pasture behind the house with a few cows roaming around. It’s a very short drive to grocery stores, restaurants and farmers’ markets. It’s a great location for accessing both sides of the island. It is a bit of a drive to Volcano NP, but still doable. The beautiful Kohala beaches are also close by. We were also close to some great hiking trails. So all in all, this is a great jumping off point for most of the island. "

"We loved our stay here and can only recommend. Very nice and clean, the couch is a comfortable fold out couch, and everything you may need is provided. It is a very peaceful place with stunning views from the room as well as the outdoor kitchen and outdoor seating. They have a nice cat and dog to chase the wild pigs away from their fruit trees. "House as described, Dannie is a wonderful host and always reachable. She helped us with everything in our special situation, we will never forget her and Jessica. If you want a home away from the tourists you are right. Awaiting luxury and quietness, go in a hotel. It’s a normal neighborhood with chicken, dogs and everything else.
