Seafoam Sanctuary - Close to beaches & restaurants

Come enjoy our clean, contemporary rental - a quick walk away from Buccaneer Park and beach! The structure is only 5 years old, and has beautiful finishes and everything you will need for your beach vacation. Located in `South O` we are walking distance to some of the best restaurants and cafes in Oceanside! Everything from Pizza, to Sushi, you can come enjoy it all.

The unit has tall ceilings, white walls, and so many windows that allow for natural light which makes this smaller space feel very open and bright. You will have everything you need, and will fall in love with this hidden gem, tucked away on a quiet street. If dining outside on the patio table, or enjoying a glass of wine after a beach day, you can relax and listen to the waves crash on the shore about 300 yards from the front door.

There is a manual gate that opens into a parking area for up to 2 cars. Inside that paver area is a staircase that leads up to the rental. There is also additional parking on the street out in front of the house.

*The space fits 4 adults and 4 children. If your group has more than 4 adults the space will be tight.

*Absolutely no parties. We live close by and do not tolerate parties or groups that are loud past 10PM.

*Our house is across the street from the train tracks. This train runs along the whole coast of San Diego`s North County. There is a station a mile and a half away from the house which provides convenient access to San Diego`s downtown area, various other beach towns, and even Los Angeles. For very light sleepers, this could be an issue because the horns are loud, however, all coastal properties in North County are close to these tracks.
-Quiet time after 10 PM. PLEASE be respectful of our neighbors! No music or excessive noise after 10pm!
-Smoking is prohibited in the home, and on the patios. If you smoke, that`s fine, but it must be done in the alley so it does not bother neighbors.
-If you are a young group (18-21), please inquire first. I allow young groups situationally but please understand I live on property and DO NOT allow underage drinking, parties, or rowdiness so if you can`t agree to this, my home is not a good fit for you.


RENTAL RULES

1. Smoking is PROHIBITED in the home. We live by the house and will know if anyone is smoking!
2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight without prior approval. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
3. The house is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4. Keep the property and all furnishings and decor in good order.
5. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
6. PETS are NOT permitted on the property.
7. Parking: Vehicles are to be parked in the designated driveway or on the street only. No parking is permitted on the street on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month (street sweeper). Any illegally parked cars are subject to fines; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. PLEASE READ POSTED STREET SIGNS UPON ARRIVAL FOR CURRENT PARKING INFORMATION AND EXACT STREET SWEEPING TIMES.
8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the house other than beach towels. All beach towels must be returned to the home!!!
9. Water and Septic: The water is a soft water filter system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. **INCLUDING FLUSHABLE WIPES! No feminine products or baby wipes should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to $250 for scoping and cleaning.
10. Storms: If there is a storm or inclement weather, no refunds will be given.
11. DO NOT USE ANY LAUNDRY DETERGENT OTHER THAN THOSE LABELED HIGH EFFICIENCY (he). It will ruin the machine and we will take the full deposit if this happens. SHAKE OFF ALL CLOTHING AND TOWELS BEFORE WASHING THEM. IF SAND IS FOUND IN THE MACHINE YOU WILL BE CHARGED A LARGE FINE.

First & foremost, what stood out was the communication with my host- Christie is amazing! This place is in a safe area. You can close the property gate to keep your car car enclosed and safe. I had my 80-year-old parents staying here and they loved it. They felt safe and the unit was very clean and spacious for an apartment - we didn’t expect that. It had everything we needed in there in case you forget something. We were celebrating my son‘s Police Academy Graduation and we’re grateful that they allowed us to put navy blue balloons up & a “Congrats Grad” balloon. There’s a big spacious bedroom downstairs that has four beds and leads to outside for convenience. This is definitely one of the best places that I have booked for my parents, close to the beach & they loved the Buccaneer Café that was only 1 street away! If you love the beach, posh shops, restaurants, and want to be close to Coast Highway AND if you want a clean place, this is the place to stay! Thank you so much, Christie.

Beautiful property! It was very clean inside and we loved the amount of space there was! There was a downstairs “kid” area that my daughter and nephew loved! The kitchen was full stocked with pans, utensils, etc. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this place to everyone! The parking was also really nice and private.

Nice stay in Oceanside!

This place had everything we needed! It’s very cute, clean, and well stocked with everything you could need! We loved having a designated, private place to park, the outdoor shower, and the downstairs bunk room for the kids! Very family/kid friendly! We enjoyed staying here very much!

Great Spot! Close to the beach and very spacious

We have a large family and we’re in need of a good size spot close to the beach, the Seafoam Sanctuary more than met our expectations. This is a clean and well planned getaway spot within a block of the shore, with a playground close by for our kids to work out their travel jitters and many restaurants and coffee shops close by for Mom and Dad walking dates. Definitely would recommend for a retreat, family vaca, or romantic getaway. P.S. The patio view is awesome also!

Who doesn’t love Oceanside?

House is awesome! Hosts are awesome! We loved staying at the seafoam sanctuary! Close to multiple beaches, great area. Nice parking and again less than five min from multiple beaches. Wish we could come back! Amazing spot!
