"Sierra Meadows is a hidden gem!! The property is so peaceful, clean and quiet that we didn't want to leave. The cabins are wonderful tiny homes with everything you'd want in your own home, including AMAZINGLY comfy beds. Everything was so clean and just perfect. Can't wait to go back!"

"We loved our stay at Fern River Resort. Tucked beneath the trees, it felt peaceful and fully immersed in nature. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and warm, we lit the fireplace in the evening and unwound after a beautiful train ride through the redwoods. Sitting by the river at dusk was one of those simple, perfect moments you wish you could stretch out a little longer. The location is ideal, just down the road from Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, making it easy to explore while still feeling...

"We left our food in the take out bag it came in, picked up but not to fill the trash. Some of the food did end up in the trash. Both the trash can and bag of food, as well as the chair and table were completely covered in ants! Kind of a bummer to wake up to at 5:30am!"

"Clean and comfortable. Heater worked well. Easy to get to and check in. Close to the lake and skiing. Kind of small for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Also outlets could use updating. Overall a very nice stay and would recommend. "
