This single storey cottage has two bedrooms both with queen size beds, flat screen TV's and ceiling fans.

The home features two separate living areas, the south facing lounge room spills out onto the beautiful deck and has views across the bay of Lake Macquarie. The Lounge area is equipped with flat screen TV, Foxtel, DVD player.

The second living area adjoins the modern kitchen and is at the rear of the house and has a double sofa lounge. Next to the second living area is a full laundry with Washing Machine, Dryer, and Ironing facilities.

The stylish kitchen is fully equipped with Microwave, Dishwasher, Tea and Coffee and all the modern kitchen gadgets.

Sun, Surf, Fish, Golf or Relax

Sit back, relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the lake as the Ducks and Pelicans pass by or hit the Golf course for a round Golf at the beautiful Belmont Course.

Launch the boat at the public boat ramp and head off to get the catch of the day ready for that afternoon BBQ as you take in the beautiful summer sunsets.

The property is conveniently located only 5 minutes drive from beautiful Blacksmiths Beach, or an easy 5 minute walk to Belmont Golf Club. Shopping facilities are available at either Belmont or Swansea.

The cottage can accommodate up to 6 adults (2 queen beds and 1 double sofa) . All bedding linen and towels are provided.

Duck Heaven

We loved this little cottage. Stunning views, ideal spot to visit and explore Lake Macquarie, visited by local bird life. The cottage has everything you need and is spotless. We hope to stay again in the future!

Excellent but could use a couple of small improvements

overall, very good. a couple of thoughts, the BBQ was a bit scary as you could not be certain the jets were alight. Also didn't get sufficiently hot. The kitchen was big enough for a decent table and chairs, it was alright eating out on the verandah but only in good weather. The cold water tap in the shower made a scream when used and the tap actually fell off at one stage.

Stunning waterfront views

Wonderful stay

Exactly as described. We had a very relaxing two night stay at Ducks Bungalow. Super views and super quiet. Beautiful place to while away the days and nights.

Highly recommend

Fantastic, just one extremely small point, the door to the deck has swollen with the weather and requires sanding to stop it sticking. Quite hard to open and close. Very quiet area which is what I need as I have extremely good hearing.

The most beautiful sunsets, the friendliest ducks, clean, a full kitchen with everything you need. Comfy beds, good pillows, large fridge, nice new bathroom. Just really really nice

Beautiful cottage , great location, clean and tidy .

We relaxed outside looking out at the water, watching the ducks and other bird life. Lovely cafes within 5 minutes walk , drove to caves beach for a swim .

A beautiful, tranquil spot

We absolutely loved Duck’s Bungalow! The outlook from the back deck is just gorgeous! A deceptively large space inside. We would love to stay longer next time.

Great home and location. We all loved it.

Lovely views and peaceful location right on the water. Home had everything you could want for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Loved watching the ducks and pelicans and other birds on the lake. Kitchen is very well equipped and games for our family to spend a fun time together. Enjoyed it so much.

Fantastic place to stay on the water

I absolutely loved this cute little place perfect for a little weekend away, able to just walk outside and take my SUP for a cruise around the river. So peaceful and some cute little wildlife around. Only comment which I let the owner know wifi doesn’t work great in the whole house and reception wasn’t fantastic but I was okay to have the peace and quiet.
