"I think this may have been our host’s first time with a VRBO. He was very nice, friendly, polite and helpful. He always answered messages very quickly. However, the ad did misrepresent the accommodation. Instead of a one bedroom, two bed home with AC, we found ourselves in a partially finished basement with one bed, one working oscillating fan, and two dehumidifiers. "We had a wonderful reunion/women's retreat weekend! The house gave us plenty of room to spread out and all gather around the large table for family style meals. We enjoyed the beautiful views over the water and the autumn colors of the trees while enjoying the hot tub or sitting around the fire pit; something for everyone! The hosts were helpful and responded quickly to our questions. Thanks for a lovely stay."

"The neighborhood was creepy. Mail was on the doorstep unopened, the owner never communicated the code to get in. I sent a text/email and never got a response. The neighbors were doing drugs. … some sort of sniffing, smoking?!? We felt totally unsafe and went to an Embassy Suites. I would expect a full refund and have contacted my credit card company to enter a complaint. I would never recommend this place to anyone !!!"

"We loved our stay here. Cheryl and Don are gracious hosts and left special touches like muffins and hard boiled eggs for our first breakfast. The area was located in a great area with easy access to many great historic sites. I would love to stay here again and do another visit to the Longwood Gardens. "

"The cabin was super clean an exactly as described. The property was quiet and there was a horse farm nearby. There was one neighbor close by, but that was never a problem. We stayed with 6 adults and 2 dogs and there was plenty of space. We absolutely loved staying here and can’t wait to do it again!"
