"Clean, and in a great location with a 15 - 20 minute stroll to main attractions. I used this as a base when taking part in the Edinburgh Half Marathon and the location was great for strolling to the start area. The apartment itself is very well furnished with everything expected from a self catering apartment for up to a week. "Very convenient location (incl own restaurant and several nearby), comfortable bed, clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. What I did not like was how hot the hallways and rooms were. There should have been air conditioning in a hotel of this price. A small fan does not help much. Also the ventilation in the pool area was not good either."

"Location, location, location! This hotel’s location seriously can’t be beat. On the corner of the colorful Victoria Street and walking distance to the castle. The grassmarket is a lively area to visit with its pubs and shops.The view of the castle at night is remarkable.
