"Pictures and description are spot on. Yes this is a small rental but it was perfect for our short getaway. Extremely clean and tidy, bed was comfy and kitchenette was spotless. View into blooming spring woods was gorgeous and plenty of birds to watch. Only improvements could be a full length mirror and salt and pepper shakers."

"Well maintained property. Clean with new appliances. Suitably stocked. Everything functioned as advertised. Convenient location, just steps from the Stowe downtown. The market across the parking lot was very convenient."

"Our second time staying at this property. Another great experience! The house is very well designed and accommodates our very large extended family, with plenty of rooms for sleeping and great open spaces to sit and talk. Wonderful views!The host is easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Planning to return to this property again."

"I grew up on a farm, so I knew what to expect. My family thought it was great! The apartment is actually in the barn, so every morning I was able to open the door and say good morning to the goats and ducks. Our apartment was awesome and very accommodating. We sat by the fire pit every night, loved up the goats, and waded in the creek, such a fun experience. You can also learn to milk a goat!Our hosts also offered classes. Goat milk soap making. "Absolutely love this house and the location. Visited with my wife, dog and parents. Complete relaxation. Used the kayaks most days and fished from the canoe and row boat. Sadly no fish were caught but I'm sure they enjoyed the supply of fresh worms! I'd highly recommend."

"From the second we pulled into the property my wife and I knew this was going to be above our expectations. Outstanding property and views and great communication with the hosts. Highly recommended!"

"Absolutely gorgeous place in beautiful Calais. Elegant and homey with everything one might need. Woke up or went to bed to the sound of loons and owls and a had a bear sighting! Rejuvenating and wonderful stay- thank you!"

"Spent 2 nights here and had a wonderful time. It is well located and near everything while being quiet and set out in a rural range. Very spacious area upstairs and more than enough amenities in the kitchen. Would love to stay again during ski season! "

"We loved this property. Very clean. Very spacious. Amazing views from good size balcony. Host always responded promptly when I had questions. Very comfortable. Very pretty.A few minutes from town of Stowe which was so convenient. Kitchen appliances and dishes, etc. were clean and plentiful. Eating and Living area cozy, roomy and comfortable . My little dog loved it too. We hope to return. "
