"Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside. "Ruben welcomed us to the house personally then gave us our privacy after that. He answered all questions and requests promptly, but his house was a JEWEL in the Nicoya area. My wife's family is from Nicoya and we have stayed in the area 35 years. Ruben's house WOWED us. It blended into the tropical landscape, was only one floor, but was HUGE. "We loved our stay of 9 days. The view is spectacular. Access to beach and the small town of San Francisco, both a short walk or drive.
