"My family had to come to the area due to a death in the family. There was room for everyone to both come together and have space alone when needed. We enjoyed the ping pong table and other games immensely, but our favorite time was spent on the deck chatting and watching the sun rise and set over the bay. The property managers were responsive and caring, and when we inadvertently left a family heirloom have been great about locating it and working with me to get it back to our family. ...

"We loved the house, we had all we needed and the house was clean. The environment was calming and the beach nearby was a plus for us and our kids. It was our first time in La Porte and we are planning to visit again."

The neighborhood is quiet and close to everything (Walmart, Dave’s hot chicken, Canes, Whatta Burger etc. The pool and hot tub were really nice after being out in the heat all day. All the kitchen supplies you need are available. Mrs. Marlene was super nice, it felt like talking with family. I wanted an early check in and she was accommodating, she even waited when we were delayed due to the weather. "

"Overall stay was great! Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is due to the multiple broken items in the home and it could’ve been a tad cleaner. But otherwise we had a great time and it was in a great location. The pool was nice, but looked like it was a while since it’s previously cleaning. Nothing we couldn’t take on ourselves, so not a huge deal. This is more like a 4.5 star rating, so I do recommend to others looking to stay in the area!"

"Beautiful neighborhood and house. The house is smaller than how it looks in pictures. That’s what i noticed first. Secondly everything in the house felt very put together. The bed frame in one of the rooms was leaning completely over. The shower water did not get hot at all in neither shower. When you turned the water on in the shower it felt like the shower would cave in on you. The beds were also very hard and springy. You can physically feel the springs.
