"The property is an affordable option if you want to visit New River Gorge and not pay hundreds per night at the resort or tent camp in order to do so. For the price you get a clean, air conditioned place to stay with a basic kitchen and great shower, which is perfect for after a day of hiking or other activities. You can't walk to get anywhere and it's a 15-20 minute drive into town, so just plan accordingly. The host is very responsive and helpful. "

"Location across from a creek was beautiful, and super quiet, I caught you on my sleep. Very comfortable bed, good quality sheets and towels, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. Immaculately clean. Small confusion about check in but easily sorted, hosts were easy to contact and very friendly. Close to 64 and a short drive to 19. Great place to rest up after hiking and rafting."

"A great way to visit the area. My husband fished on the pond every night and my son hiked up the property's trail to view the sunrise. Easy to access and not far from many Natl Park trails. Our hosts were very communicative and helpful. I hope to visit again."

"Horseshoe Acres was great! There was plenty of room for our family (6 adults & 3 teenagers), and every room was immaculately clean. The long tables inside and on the deck allowed for meals, games, and conversation, and the theatre, popcorn machine, hot tub, and yard, were hits for our group. Although we did not use the fire pit, grill, or sauna, it was nice to have them available. Oak Hill’s proximity to the New River Gorge and Welcome Center, river and bridge, UTV tour, Grandview,...

"We loved the location of this house. The creek that ran along the property was an added scenic bonus. The house was close to NRG and Hawks Nest as well as several waterfall hikes. The house was well stocked with about anything you could need. We did have to contact the owners while we were there and the communication was great. You do have to walk through one kids bedroom to get to the other, which wasn’t a problem for us but might matter for some. We had a great time and would return. "
