On Beach - 3rd/Ocean - Direct Ocean View and Access - Pool

This is one of the few ocean facing apartments in this art deco building in SoFi. It's been completely renovated to reflect the beautiful light throughout the day, that starts with the sunrise. Furnishings are light and fresh; bedding and towels are high quality and comfortable.

The beach is just out the back door, across the pool area, through a private walkway through the dunes. The condo is equipped with a Beach Club Card which allows you to receive two FREE beach chairs and one umbrella for free at Esteban's Place Beach Service (this is a $40.00 value per day anywhere else). The apartment includes beach towels. There is no service at Esteban's so either pack a cooler with your favorite drinks or hop over to The Savoy Beach Bar, just one block north for cocktails on the beach.

The building just received some fresh paint, new artwork and some other repairs and renovations. It's well maintained and monitored. However, please keep in mind; it's a humble, low key art deco building of vacation rentals, not ultra luxury accomodations like the surrounding buildings and the area.

More on the area, it doesn't get any better. Some notable hangouts are Nikki Beach Club, Carbone, Catch, Kissaki, Forte Dei Marmi, all within 3 blocks of walking distance. Boardwalk is right in the back of the building, parks and public spaces surround the whole area.

For more casual options, just walk north on the boardwalk where you'll find a vibrant restaurant, bar and shopping scene.

No parking garage in the building. A car is neither needed nor recommended but plenty of garages available in the area. Spot Hero app gets you the best options and rates. Uber is affordable and widely available.

This is an ideal spot for a romantic getaway. Access to the beach and having an umbrella and chairs are essential. There are also Citibank bikes available for rent approx. 3 minute walk, so you can explore the surrounding area.I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a simple and relaxing beach vacation.

The owner was great and contacted well until I got to the apartment. Apartment was not as described. Not well maintained. Stains on sheets and walls. Things broken. Contacted owner multiple times with no response. Ended up staying at a condo on the north side. Even was trying to work with the owner so he would not get a bad review and he still would not reply. Jason is definitely not someone I would deal with again.

The host Jason was very friendly and attentive. He gave tips on everything nearby. The location is amazing! The condominium was very clean and the views are exactly as described. We felt safe walking around. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

This location was the perfect spot for us; close to anything that we wanted to do. Food, activities, drug stores, or peace and quite! Everything is within walking distance. the only inconvenience that we had was the back gate code never worked for us, so we had to walk around to the front of the building to get inside the building. Because of the short amount of time that we where there, it didn't bother us.Jason was great host! He provided us with lists of area "things to do" before our trip, made it possible for us to check in early, and was quick to respond with answers to our questions! The chair service that was provided was awesome; had a front row view of the ocean for our stay! I would recommend staying here for your family time in South Beach.

Perfect location in South Beach!

Look no further! This is the perfect location in a quiet neighborhood South of 5th which is a couple of blocks away from Art Deco and South Point Pier. We were able to walk everywhere which we loved. No need to rent a car. We just used Uber from airport and were in walking distance to all the fabulous restaurants, and shops. The view from the condo is amazing! You can see the pool and beach from bedroom and living area. Condo was clean, and well stocked with everything you needed. Jason was the perfect host. He made us feel at home by reaching out immediately upon our arrival with great recommendations for local restaurants. The happy hour suggestions really saved us a lot of money. Food and service was excellent. The beach is beautiful, clean, and chairs with umbrella were included with rental. Water was so warm, and fun to play in. We also appreciate how accommodating Jason was with the timing of our flights. He really wanted us to enjoy our stay there. There are also opportunities for sunset cruises, and parasailing if you’re looking for some adventure at the pier. The only regret was we couldn’t stay longer. Will definitely return soon!

A perfect spot right on the beach south of 5th.

Jason the property caretaker was great! Very hospitable, communicative, and helpful in every way. Accommodation was bright and beachy, well-appointed, super clean and comfortable.Great location On beach walk, and walkable to everything. Next to the beach park and citibikes is all you need to cruise around SOBE. PS: If you have a car, park on 7th St. and Collins city parking garage. Everything else is too expensive.

Nice get away

First thing I will say is that Jason the caretaker of the property is amazing. Jason went over the top to ensure we were as comfortable and well taken care of. If we needed anything he was only a phone call away. I think the apartment/condo was nice the location is great if you want to be away from the main busy area of Miami. The main area of Miami is very close a few minutes away. I will say the building is older so if you don’t mind the older building structures then it will be perfect for you. I think even though it is a older building they can still do some remodeling or upgrades to the entire interior/exterior also the second floor hallway had a really bad smell, the pool didn’t seem to get any attention as the water level was very low and water felt dirty. The inside of the apartment/condo in my opinion needs some upgrades also for example one of the most important things the beds, the master and the 2 additional beds were very uncomfortable. But with a little bit of simple upgrades this location would be fantastic. I would consider staying again if they fixed what I mentioned. Thanks again to Jason

Perfect getaway weekend

We had a great time here, communication and directions were easy, beach access is amazing. I didn't realize until I get there that most of the popular restaurants are within a short walk, you don't need a car really. The beach chairs and umbrellas made everything so easy, we didn't have to schlep all that and it's free to building residents. We didn't use the pool but it looked quiet and nice. The apartment itself is pretty much exactly what it looks like online. We didn't cook and the kitchen is very small but it was more than enough for a morning coffee. The view is beautiful and everything is very clean. Thank you so much, we're obviously coming back!

Awful South Beach Stay

The elevator was behind a door that original. The unit was nothing like the pictures. Bed looked like someone slept it in. Dirt in kitchen drawer. Unit was dirty. The air conditioner in the bedroom was horrible loud and unit was rusted. I stayed in the unit for 1 1/2 hours and left.

Perfect location, had a great time!

My husband and I enjoyed our time in Miami Beach. This property was perfect for us. We had a great view of the ocean and could walk to local restaurants and shopping. The property included chairs and umbrella service on the beach. The beach was beautiful and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!
