"This boutique hotel wasn’t our plan, but fortunately was just around the corner from the VRBO property we had booked and which turned out to not to be habitable because of some technical problems. The owners were very nice and very helpful to us during the four days we stayed there. The restaurant was excellent and the margarita they made was the best one I had in Mexico. "We absolutely loved our time in Merida and staying at the CIGNO Hotel was perfect for us. A little removed from the Centro of town but easily walkable and completely safe, day or night. The hotel was absolutely lovely. 10 spacious rooms, excellent staff and food. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and had two dinners as well. The margaritas are exceptional. The entire staff is pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again while visiting Merida!! "
