We were warmly welcomed by the host who also shared some information regarding things to do in the area. Perfect location out of the hustle and bustle of Rosebud and Rye but close enough to enjoy snorkelling at the Rye Peer, local restaurants, Arthurs seat and the Peninsula Hot Springs. The accommodation was clean and fully equipped with everything you need from staying 2 nights or 10. The tv game set up was a game changer after a hot day on the beach to keep the kids entertained. Very quiet and Private. Will definitely return.

We had a very brief stay and were very comfortable. The weather wasn't great for the beach but as we were across the road from it, we could watch the sky changing, the wind surfers from within the unit or sitting on the porch. The location was just great. Our host was very accommodating when we had to check in quite late. The Unit was as described, very clean. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, there was a great big backyard, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a great night's sleep. Thanks for hosting us.

Lovely home away from home, just across the road from the beach. We loved the stroll up to Dromana pier, and the family games were perfect for some down time.Andrew was a great host, providing clear communication and everything we needed for our stay.Thanks for having us!

Beautiful beachfront house. There is a toilet block which didn't bother. The view is spectacular! Kitchen with most equipment. Large bathroom/laundry, no dryer. you just need own towels. Need to supply own sheets and pillowcases for Bedrooms.No WiFi access. Heating available, not adequate. Bus 788 takes you to/from Frankston station.Overall, it was a relaxing staycation, beautiful sunsets. Great position. Close to dromana.

Great location. Right opposite water (and toilet block). Short walk to shops. Small unit and some noise from upstairs movement but clean and comfortable. Check in issues required contact with owner to rectify.

Amazing beach front stay!

We had an amazing time here. Location is excellent, right opposite the beach, close to the Safety Beach plaza, and a quick drive to Dromana. The unit is very clean and had everything you need. We enjoyed the big garden and barbeque! Definitely recommend. We hope to make this our peninsula regular!

Perfect getaway!

Thank you Andrew for making my parents stay a wonderful relaxing experience. This was their getaway for their 60th wedding anniversary and from arriving they were extremely happy. The place was very clean, cosy and inviting. They will definitely be returning! Thank you

Close to beach but wasn't clean.

Great location & good lay out of the unit.. Think in the height of summer it could be very busy/noisy location but when we went, Autumn, it was lovely. Responsive host online. Unfortunately the place was not clean. Really grotty actually. Host immediately reimbursed me the cleaning fee when I messaged concerns, however I was left to clean the place myself before we could settle in. Not happy as this was physically difficult for me but it was either that or go home. The place is not wheelchair accessible as advertised, There is a sizable step down into the bathroom & no grip rail to assist. I suggest contacting the host beforehand to check it will meet your needs if accessibility is an issue. We were aware beforehand so could make an informed decision. Lovely local area close by.

We had a relaxation and rejuvenation girls weekend away and this property was perfect! It was directly across the road from the beach and this place had stunning views, was clean and comfortable, peaceful and quiet, close to shops, cafes and restaurants ... heaven!! We will definitely be back!

This is Truly a exceptional Place that should not be over looked.

Communication was excellent thank you Answering all questions very quickly. With no lie, single, couples or even a family. This unit was beautiful, and very clean . Was greeted on arrival and shown everything, by John , This unit no lie has Comfy beds which was a huge plus. And Everything was available I. The kitchen, was well and truly set up. Ready to go. The view was super seeing all the ships going pass, and walk straight across the road and you are on the beach. Plenty of sightseeing to do lots of places to go. And if you are like us , the cafe’s and restaurants down the road are also really nice. Thank you John and Dianne for the experience and allowing us into your home. Nice , cosy and clean unit on the beach.

Lovely little clean unit right on the beach, lovely large backyard and amenities including the BBQ. The owners were friendly and hospitable also, I forgot to bring my own sheets as outlined in the booking guidelines and the owner upstairs was lovely enough to provide us a set for our Queen bed when we checked in. Plenty of blankets and pillows provided too. You will need to bring your own towels and washing machine powder also but other than that it was a lovely stay with everything else we needed at a reasonable price. Local Shops are limited on safety beach but there is a local grocery store/ cafe as well as a fish and chip shop otherwise Mount Martha is your next best destination for more variety of stores and restaurants.
