Beach House with Parents Retreat

Peace and relaxation while on vacation, this Rye back beach house is located on a "No through Road" and only minutes from Rye back beach, Rye shops, 16th Beach Cafe and only 3 km to the Peninsula Hot Springs, Golf Clubs and so much more. Your rental includes all bedroom linen, bathroom towels and beach towels.

This quaint original beach house sits on 905 square mtr. site surrounded by natural moonah trees in a natural garden setting. The first thing you will notice on arrival is the peace and quiet, sit and listen to the ocean, while you can't see it you can hear it, especially in the early hours of the evening.

Please pay attention to the floor plan as one end of this home (parents retreat end) the master bedroom has it's own living room with the 4th bedroom (2 x singles for smaller family members to sleep) this bedroom is open to the Master bedroom. The parents retreat area has ensuite, walk-in robe and study nook, it also has its own separate entrance from the front verandah.

The lounge has a woodfired heater (also reverse cycle heating and cooling).
The dining area has an extended table enough to seat 8. The kitchen has a 4 burner gas cooktop and electric oven, dishwasher and large microwave. A coffee pod machine and is fitted out to cook a nice meal if required.
The kitchen has a nice spread of cookbooks, however if cooking isn't your thing then venture out for some great meals at many great eateries in Rye, Blairgowrie, Sorrento and Portsea, very spoilt for choice.

The Deck area is large with outdoor dining setting, BBQ, perfect for entertaining.

Great for 2 families with young children

Great little gem for 2 families with 3 young children between us. House sectioned off for privacy and exactly what we needed. Close to most attractions that we wanted to see and do ie. Hot springs, Arthur seat eagle gondola ride- seawinds gardens playspace for picnic & playground and a lovely walk where you will see ducks, kangaroos and other wildlife, dragon's head lookout for some great family photos at sunset. The house had great cooking and washing facilities. Marie is such a lovely host - was give early check in and late check out. Also, was given a complimentary wine on arrival! Thank you

The location is perfect and tucked away in bushland near to St Andrew’s Beach. We loved the house and enjoyed walking and exploring the rock pools of the surf beaches. The hosts were very communicative and helpful and we would definitely go back

Secluded getaway

If you like relaxing on couches with cushions this house is for you with three separate sitting areas to relax, read, play board games or watch TV. The parents retreat opens to the kids sleeping area so while this is great for families with preschool kids, or younger primary it wouldn't work for older kids, if parents like privacy at night. However, the whole parents retreat would work really well for a group of older primary school or high school kids, as third and fourth bedroom would work for parents. Property was very well maintained, super clean, kitchen knives very sharp which was awesome, and the host is very organised, friendly and a great communicator. The location is quiet, with a delicious sourdough shop a fe minutes walk away, takeway shop 5 minutes around the corner and 15 minutes drive from Gunnamatta patrolled ocean beach. We had a very relaxing time and would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic girls weekend away

Had a wonderful couple of nights at Marie’s place. Well equipped kitchen, super comfy and cozy beds, lovely hot showers, and great location made for a super fun relaxing weekend. Treatments at Hot Springs and Aurora at the Conti( superb!!!). Highly recommend.

Great location and entertainer

Fantastic property in the prefect part of Rye with easy access to the back beach. The property itself was styled lovely and the parents retreat is a real treat to have. Plenty of space for everyone. The outdoor area was great for entertaining and relaxing whilst having a bbq. It is also at the end of a dead end street so very private which was a big plus. A great place to stay and very good value for money

Excellent accommodation

Property was in a great location with lots of comfortable spaces for guests to unwind and our host was extremely welcoming and generous with a lovely bottle of chilled wine on arrival. Would definitely stay here again.
