I’m sharing this review because my experience at this hotel did not meet expectations, especially considering its reputation.
Communication Issues
I initially emailed the hotel because someone in my group became sick and couldn’t travel. They responded to my first message, but when I followed up to explain the situation further and share my concerns including my experience at the bar I never received a reply. The lack of follow-up felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Amenities Unavailable
A major disappointment was that key amenities specifically the rooftop were unavailable for almost our entire stay. It was closed first for a private wedding and then for maintenance issues. We were never informed of these closures in advance, even though the rooftop was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel.
Service Issues at the Bar
We also had an uncomfortable experience at the bar. A drink was prepared incorrectly, and while the bartender tried to fix it, we could hear staff discussing the situation through their walkie-talkies, which felt unprofessional.
When we asked for the bill, two staff members insisted the drink was “good for them” and refused to remove it from the check, even though they were not the ones consuming it. Their tone was dismissive and rude, and one staff member mentioned they had set the drink aside to taste it themselves which felt completely inappropriate and embarrassing for us as guests.
Final Thoughts
I chose this hotel expecting high-quality service
