"It started off with my mistake - booking a room for three and I misread the site - only one king bed for 2 adults and an 11 yr old. The (exhausted) woman at the desk caught the error and found us a room with two beds. The room was clean quiet and very comfortable. The property looks modest, the typically motel style of western America but it was updated well. Do not let looks deceive you- this place won our hearts with the staff. BTW this is tourist country and tourist season so finding a gem...

"We traveled from Australia and wanted an accommodation experience that was different. This place was it. The hosts were amazing and most welcoming to us and showed us around the property. We enjoyed meeting other guests around the fire pit in the evening. The experience was amazing I would highly recommend this property. The bedding was the MOST luxurious bedding we slept in while travelling for 2 weeks. We felt safe and loved our stay. "

"We stayed in the hotel and not a cabin. It was very clean and the staff was friendly. Check-in was easy and quick. Downside is that we were on the bottom floor and could hear all the walking above us and on stairs. Noisy neighbors talking right outside our window at 1am. Perfect place to stay for 1 night before heading into Yellowstone. Wish they had a little more variety at breakfast."

"Our stay was amazing. The staff is very professional and welcoming. Our tent faced the Yellowstone river and mountains! Our view off the porch looked like a post card. Great food options for breakfast and dinner. Comfortable beds. Warm fireplace. It’s a must see in person ! "

"The Big Rock was in town but not in high traffic, walking distance to restaurants, a grocery market. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchenette was everything we needed to cook a simple meal. The view was great and the table and chairs on the common patio area was appreciated. A bonus was having an elk eating in the grass right next to the hotel!"
