Adventure to me is getting to experience the incredible places that not many get to see and the journey it takes to get there. The things you learn along the way, the people you meet and the feeling of accomplishment when you reach your goal. A brutal climb at elevation, in rugged terrain, hot sun, wind gusts, rain, snow, curious bears, and pushing through the pain are all worth in the end when you see that view. These experiences make you truly grateful for the small things in life we take for granted every day such as a bed, running water, a toilet, and good quality toilet paper. My time spent in the mountains has taught me many things. To get comfortable being uncomfortable, never use bear spray down wind from a bear, be bold start cold (from a friend) and dont eat dehydrated beef stroganoff to name just a few. Each adventure teaches something new. This picture was taken 8:23pm descending from the summit of Granite Peak, the highest peak in Montana. We would have probably never seen this view if we had stuck to the original plan. We ended up hiking over 20 hours straight and encountered a bear in the middle of the night on the route back to camp. Not ideal! However, I learned to stick to the original plan and never underestimate how bad your lungs will burn and how slow you walk when you go from 1100 ft. to over 12,000 ft. in less than 48 hours, but another adventure is in the books. Climbing mountains can be absolutely torture on your mind and body and at the same time can be so rewarding. I find in the end I always want to go back for more. #adventure

"Increíble. El hotel es un espacio muy pequeño pero hecho y mantenido con MUCHO amor y esmero. Las tipis están en perfecto estado y tienen una ubicación espectacular...abrir el tipi y ver las montañas nevadas de frente es más de lo que esperaba. Los baños son compartidos pero en PERFECTO estado y constante limpieza. El desayuno es variado y rico. Mi única sugerencia es que podrían utilizar menos vajilla desechable. "

"The concerns and hospitality of the host was amazing. They made sure we knew all the ins and outs of visiting their area in non-opportune times. They even texted us during our stay to make sure we were aware of changing wheather conditions. On top of all that the lodging was so comfy and cozy and they provided items to make the stay even better. I will be a return guest. Not sure you can say anthying better than that."

"For my fishing buddy and me (both octogenarians), everything was almost perfect (my only concern was bumping my head on the bunk bed above me when getting into or out of bed (BTW, I was careful and never bumped it)). "This cabin's location is perfect if you will be traveling into the park each day. (And if not, it's a beautiful, peaceful spot to spend the time) It was very clean, nicely decorated and cozy on the river. We had elk outside a couple nights. Great for star gazing. Lots of places to eat out nearby. Grocery store just minutes away. Check in & check out were smooth. The kitchen has everything we needed. Thanks again! "

"BEST VRBO we have ever stayed in. Incredible views from the deck and main rooms, easy access to Yellowstone North Entrance, Gardiner had grocery, gas and a few restaurant options within minutes (even late shoulder season of October)! Beautiful place, impeccably clean, plenty of space for family of 6 (could easily add 4 more comfortably)! Kitchen fully stocked with supplies and tools needed. Highly recommend!"

"It's a good hotel, but in my case, the room (the floor) was very dirty, probably due to renovations. I understand that rooms are no longer cleaned during your stay, but it's important to keep the floors clean. The room didn't have a hair dryer, so I called to request one.
