"Amazing place; would stay there again! Coffee machine and welcome drinks were a great touch. Breakfast was delicious and was easy to take to go. Clean, quiet, close to bus stops. Highly recommend. "

Two minor complaints: the fan that went on whenever the bathroom light was turned on could get downright deafening; the pillows were so soft they provided no support whatsoever for reading in bed. "The staff was friendly and very accommodating-there is a public transit stop just 2 minutes away on a major bus route that makes local travel really easy. There are two grocery stores within a couple blocks and a number of places to eat close by with a broad selections of local and international tastes. "We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it. The outside facing rooms are more expensive but we had an inside west facing room on the second floor (looking onto a very large grassed area) which still had amazing views of the mountains. Nothing to dislike about this hotel."

"We booked two rooms for our family and they were both large, comfortable and modern. AC in each room and an elevator was nice. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Inge helped me immediately with notifying the correct parties pertaining to my lost passport. She went above and beyond in providing excellent customer service. We will stay at Bergland Hotel again in a heartbeat next time we’re in Salzburg. "

"This small hotel is a gem in the center of the old town minutes away from many quality restaurants, shops and attractions. It is family owned and they run it like you are family visiting! Staff are very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast has many options and the food is fresh and beautifully displayed I almost didn’t want to ruin the presentation.
