"The shuttle service was excellent - Picked us up at the airport and, if you have a marine graduating, they will take you to the base and pick you up. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was average but very clean and has a refrigerator, microwave, and safe. Plenty of towels and a very good modern shower. "

"From the front desk, to the restaurant, to the cleaning staff, everyone was vibrant and friendly. The property is well kept and a popular place for the afterwork drinks. The food at Trade, the onsite dining, was tasty and it was among the first lobby restaurants that I frequented througout my 4 day stay. The valet service is a little expensive, but convenient. I highly recommend a stay at the Republic."

"I loved how there was a starbucks and so many walkable restaurants in the area. I will say parking was very limited since we do have a tall truck but the staff was super understanding and flexible. Absolutely would return. "

"The location was somewhat central for our day trips to La Jolla and Coronado Island, which was great. It felt like everything was not too far away from the hotel. That staff were friendly, professional and efficient. The area outside the hotel seems to not be in the best area. There were always more homeless people in this area than I saw anywhere else. Even the nearby CVS had heightened security with a guard at the door and every (and I mean EVERY) item locked up. We enjoyed our stay and never...

"The hotel is gorgeous. The entrance is beautiful as well as the room we had. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating. All of them were respectful and kind. The outdoor pool was nice and they have comfortable lounges. I would definitely come back to the hotel. "
