Welcome to this cosy cottage/holiday home in Mariapfarr! Between the mountains and close to the village centre, you will enjoy a wonderful holiday here during every season. In winter, ski resorts such as Fanningberg, Katschberg/Aineck, Grosseck/Speiereck and Obertauern are nearby, and in summer, the beautiful Salzburg Lungau surprises you with various hiking trails, cycling paths, mountain bike routes, mountain lakes and beautiful unspoilt nature. Perfect for an active and relaxing holiday!
The charming village of Mariapfarr is located in the southern part of Salzburger Land, at about 1,100 meters above sea level, surrounded by picturesque mountain peaks. Mariapfarr counts as one of the sunniest villages in Austria, but is also a true skiing paradise! It is the ideal starting point for the well-known Lungau ski area with the ski resorts Grosseck/Speiereck with 50 kilometers of ski slopes, Fanningberg with ca. 25 kilometers (both less than 8 kilometres from the centre), Katschberg-Aineck with 70 kilometers and Obertauern with more than 100 kilometers of ski slopes.

There is also plenty to do off-piste in the winter resort of Mariapfarr. The region around Mariapfarr offers several cross-country trails through the snowy winter landscape, guided ski tours and snowshoe hikes on the surrounding slopes. At the Lignitz cross-country skiing centre, you can also try out laser biathlon.

Mariapfarr is also the ideal destination for a successful summer holiday. Surrounded by rolling alpine meadows, imposing mountains and crystal-clear mountain lakes, it offers almost everything for an active holiday. Not only can you swim in the more than 60 sparkling mountain lakes in Salzburg Lungau, but also in the many public swimming pools, such as the Samsunn Vitality and Wellness Centre in Mariapfarr, which offers plenty of swimming fun and relaxation with an outdoor pool and a modern sauna landscape in both winter and summer!

There are plenty of shopping opportunities directly in the village or in the neighbouring communities of Mauterndorf and Tamsweg for everyday needs, as well as a wide range of restaurants
