"Very charming house. Location good to explore around. Facilities good and a lot of utensils in the kitchen. We asked for a home made dinner at home and it was amazing. Improvements: Swimming pool doesn't have fence so kids cannot run around unsupervised. Dogs are a nightmare next door barking through the night. Gardener trying to come twice and the last day, he started to do the garden before we left the house so we could not leave kids running around or use the swimming pool."

"The hotel was a fabulous example of Lucca - the entrance door was 15th century, the room decor was typical of the period, yet with clean, modern facilities, and the lady managing, Ingrid, was so helpful and kind. Breakfast was just lovely. Fantastic stay to start our holiday. "

"Our stay in Lucca was wonderfully relaxing. Massimo was a great host. He stopped in several times in the two weeks that we were there. His travel tips and suggestions made our trip the most enjoyable we’ve had. The house was nicely furnished but kept a farmhouse charm. The view from the patio never failed to relax us. Very peaceful. We would come back in a heartbeat."

"Lorenzo our host generously provided a list of local eateries and directions to the nearest shops for basics.The property itself was clean, well-equipped and in a great location from which to stroll round the streets of Lucca or explore further afield.The sound from the music school which is adjacent to the flat takes a bit of getting used to, but not unpleasant.The flat is attractive, welcoming, if a bit dark inside, but the wee outdoor space is a bonus.
