"The house itself is beautiful however the amenities outside was disappointing. We had 5 kids with us and we got this house for the playground,the river, and the awning. However the playground had a swarm of bees. I contacted the property manager some guy came by “to get rid of them” however it didn’t really work. Next the river had so much debris we couldn’t safely get in it. Which they couldn’t control. However the awning with the lights we tried to use the speakers to give the kids a dance...

"Easy to find, but remote, not a far drive to anywhere. Loved the high ceilings and shower. "

"Loved this property and a huge plus was the awesome an quick communication with the owners/hosts. Our kids had a fabulous time in the pool and playing pool which were two musta for them based on our family's age range. Weather was perfect which was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again for a future getaway! Many thanks to the hosts!"

"We stayed at this property so we could watch our daughter at an event at Liberty University. It was a quick drive there or to restaurants and shopping. The host was great! Our group consisted of adults, teens, and toddlers. We all enjoyed the house. The bunk room is fantastic for children. The hot tub was great on a chilly day. The host took care of our every need! "

"If you love nature, peace and quiet then this is the place for you! Set back on winding rural roads, the small apartment is surrounded by greenery, animals and nature sounds. Homey and clean, it was exactly what we needed. Wifi and cell coverage was great despite the rural area. I had a Teams mtg. and had no issues at all. Prior to it, sat on the patio and read a book surrounded by birds singing, and the farm dogs hanging out by my side.The apartment was as described in listing. We will return...

"Great cabin! Very comfortable, everything was perfect, clean and cozy! Would definitely recommend this property. Visited Natural Bridge and VA Safari Park and both were amazing! "

"Nestled in the woods far enough to see decent stars, and relaxing to view them from a hot tub! Our son enjoyed exploring the creek running along the yard."

"Pictures of Dog Trot do not do this gem justice. It truly is an experience staying in this historical cabin. So relaxing. We made a camp fire our last big there. Watched deer and turkeys from the front porch and patio. Gorgeous property. Suzy is a wonderful and accommodating host. We rented this again for a few days in October to take advantage of the fall foliage. Can't wait."

"This cottage is designed for a small family in a quiet neighborhood but plenty of retail within minutes. Great location for a long weekend visiting your college-aged child. "

"The Candy Apple is a beautiful, clean, spacious and well furnished home to rent for you r stay in Lynchburg. We were very impressed with the inside of the house. The beds were super comfy!! The parking is a bit tight. There is a very nice deck to use - unfortunately, carpenter bees galore. The cons were the wifi - we all had trouble - could not get wifi . Lastly, the yard was not useable; glad we did not have children. All in all this house served our purpose very nicely. !!"
