"The room was large and in a quiet part of the hotel. Staff for booking in and in the bar and breakfast room were helpful and nice. No passing traffic made for a very restful night's sleep. Breakfast was comprehensive with continental or cooked options."

"The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. "Stayed overnight here so we could catch a nearby folk music gig. Everything was outstanding! If you're looking for that "Sign of the Prancing Pony" romantic inn experience, this is it. I half-expected to see Aragorn ensconced in the corner. Breakfast was absolutely terrific: my wife had the vegetarian full English and I had the regular, both superb. Strong, flavorful coffee made fresh. Staff were always helpful and friendly. We'd definitely stay here again in Cambridge!"
