"We stayed here for a few days to explore the New River Gorge. Having never been to the area before, I realized later that there are places that we almost booked that would've been very far from the places we wanted to see. This location was just right - close to Oak Hill and Fayetteville for shops/dining, and 10 minutes or so to the New River Gorge Bridge. "As we wanted to visit New River Gorge National Park, this house was centrally located & very close to Sandstone Visitor Center. Plan ahead for food & supplies, as it is remote and not much around. My husband wants to return! It's a beautiful area & loved seeing the river. We got used to daily visits from the train."

"Loved the hot tub and feeding the horses. Couldn't enjoy the pond or creek because it hadn't rained for a long time. Already looking into booking again. "

"Fantastic cabin for my family - including 2 teens! Everyone had their own space and privacy and the WiFi and cellular service were great. The stream across the street is beautiful! It was only about 20 minutes or so to some great restaurants and a grocery store. The location was beautiful and there were great places to walk with our dog right near the cabin. Close enough to New River Gorge to enjoy the park but not at all crowded. We were looking to get away from stress and this was just what...

"We had a great time! The kids loved the pool table and ping pong table and it was great to relax in the hot tub after days of rafting and other activities. The location was very convenient to activities and places to eat. The hosts were very friendly and communication was good!"

"House was excellent. Loved the quiet location that wasn’t too far (10-15 minutes) from town. So glad we decided on this house instead of our first choice in town. "

"This place is just the cutest. It was small, but we had everything we could possibly need. It was clean and comfy and just minutes from area attractions. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend!"

"House was perfect for a large family gathering. We went for a family wedding. There was plenty of room for different family members. Property is in process of renovations, but very nice. Space was clean and comfortable. We loved the theater room and all the deer that visit in the backyard. The road to house was the only thing that was a little tricky!"
