"Place was a dump. Toilet didn’t work properly, television didn’t work, remote needed batteries, wifi didn’t work properly. The food menu wasn’t even close to the pictures on line. It was run down and was a disaster. We paid for two nights but checked out after one. Only positive was Claire the manager. "

"We loved our log cabin, it was very spacious, the only thing that let it down was the bedspread smelled horrible so I suspect it hadn’t been washed in a long time. "We last stayed here a couple of years ago and enjoyed it but it seems to have gone downhill. The hotel location is great, the room was clean and tidy, beds comfortable, but the bathroom was full of mould and in definite need of a refurb. We had the buffet breakfast in the restaurant which was cold and not worth the price. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there and didn’t seem to care the bathroom was mouldy. We cancelled a booking for our return trip and stayed at a much nicer place...

"Manky hotel needing a serious upgrade! Got ‘upgraded’ to a room that overlooked a pile of weeds instead of the race course. Shower was mouldy & the bath out on the veranda is very odd. Never trust the photos online. "

"Staff were friendly. Bar choice was good. Breakfast was stale and fruit was still frozen. Bathroom tap kept falling off but nobody came to fix it. Carpets needed a good clean. The hotel really needs an overhaul and some TLC. Very disappointing. "
