"Very cute modern log cabin. I am very happy to say i saw a couple dusty web strands but no bugs/spiders at all! The cabin is modern as in well sealed and insulated from temperature and noise and bugs. The wood work inside is absolutely beautiful! And the air conditioning worked great. Roomy, spacious, and worked out well for us. Main floor is a master bedroom with attached bathroom and two more bedrooms wirh a common full bath. There is also a nice recreation room downstairs with a foosball...

"The location is excellent. Secluded but convenient to shops, dining and activities in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. Lots of great hiking everywhere! The decor in the cabin is perfect. "We were very happy with this house- fantastic view and tons of room for 6 retired ladies on their annual ladies trip. We met the host Gwen who gave us some great recommendations and also quickly fixed a minor issue. We enjoyed the restaurants in Lake Lure. GreyHawk and Lured had great outdoor spaces and food. All of us agreed (no small feat for six 60 ladies) that we will return to Lake Lure next year and to this house!"

"Stayed for a long weekend. Property is as advertised. It was nice to have access to the private beach, swimming hole, and fishing spots. Power went out due to a storm on the first morning. The property manager and owner were responsive and helpful in working with the power company to get the problem fixed."

"We had the perfect fall getaway in this cabin. Our group was friends in their 40s and two 18-year-olds. We let the teenagers have the downstairs with the TV so they could play their video games. The adults took the upstairs which had the kitchen and the fireplace. It was chilly while we were there and we much enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace, added great ambience. "We stayed at a cabin on top of Hickory Nut Lake in Lake Lure during the fall, and the place was beautiful.
