The cabin is beautiful, spacious and clean. The location is very quiet and secluded but also close to some cool restaurants and towns. The host was amazing at communication and everything from check in to check out went very smoothly. I would recommend and I would stay here again.

Jody was so welcoming! She is very informative about the area and offers suggestions. Love her animals that greet you as well. Communal outside areas were very nice. A nice quiet retreat at a great price! Very clean rooms!! I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you for your hospitality!

We stayed there recently and we absolutely loved the pool and the hot tub. Shaun and Jody are amazing hosts. Our cabin as one of the cabins that isn’t quite remodeled yet but it’s in great condition and was big enough for an entire family ! It was spotless and the bed was comfortable. My only wish list was to have a mountain view but for the price I’d definitely stay there again. We loved how close we were to the lake and Chimney Rock. Great place to relax and breathe in the fresh air.

Jody and Shaun were lovely. There when you needed them but not intrusive. Cabin tastefully done and very convenient. Location is perfect. I would and will recommend staying there to others.

We only stayed one night but wish we had booked more. Jody & Shaun were super hosts and mad us feel at home. Very peaceful and the pool was so welcoming and right opposite our cabin which was the roost. Highly recommended and we will return next time we in the States.

As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather. Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel. The only downside is that we only had one night there!

Our overall experience was excellent. The cabin was roomy with a nice bathroom and kitchenette. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Also, sitting outside on the cabin porch was excellent.

Property so peaceful and quiet tucked away in the mountains. Cabin was quaint clean and spacious. We enjoyed our full pots of coffee with local beans. Fully equipped kitchenette and spacious bathroom. Beds were so comfortable. Can’t say enough great things about Shaun and Jodie. I don’t have enough room to talk about how much I loved their pete. So happy we could support the Chimney Rock and Lake Lure communities.

Quiet, peaceful place, our deck felt like we were in a treehouse. Outstanding hosts, cabin was cozy but plenty of room for the two of us. Definitely a do-again.

We absolutely loved the shaded crest. The owners were so nice and helpful. We only stayed one night but will definitely be going back to stay here. It was so clean and convenient pertaining to all things lake lure/chimney rock. We would recommend staying here 10/10.

This place is awesome, we stayed in the Perch, it was perfect, peaceful, we slept great. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, stayed 2 nights, met some wonderful people there. The owners are great. It was the perfect weekend getaway. We've been visiting Chimney Rock for over 60 years. They're starting to get everything back to normal, they're working so hard. Go visit and help support all the wonderful businesses. Hurricane Helene hit them hard almost 2 years ago, go show them some Love!
