"We have been coming here for years. The home is beautiful and well maintained. It’s right in the beach so the kids can run back and forth to the house if needed. They have everything you could need inside the home and in the toy garage. We will always return to this property as long as it is available!!! The owner is incredibly nice and helpful! "

If traveling with teens like us (both 6’ plus), the bunk beds and living room furniture might be a little on the small side for an extended stay."

"Our family of four loved the home and had a fabulous stay. We enjoyed all of homes benefits due to its perfect location on Galveston Island. The home was exactly as described, facilities were clean, and the hosts were quick to answer any questions we had. We loved being able to take a short walk down to the beach, hop in the car to visit the seawall, restaurants, or just relax in the many comforts of the house. We look forward to staying again soon!"

"Very nice comfortable home. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The porch was awesome with the breeze. We spent a lot of time at the beach, we played cards and cooked and ate most meals together. The beds were comfortable and nice showers"

"We came to dust my husbands ashes as Galveston area was his special happy place! We needed a house that was close to beach, quiet and clean! This home was amazing, had everything that was suppose to be there! So very clean and the decor was charming and so comfortable! None of us wanted to leave! I may make one more trip before I’m to old to drive and I definitely will choose this home!"

"We loved staying at La Tortuga! It had all the comforts of home and was spacious for 6 adults! We will be back! Our only complaint was there weren't any trash bags to be found and 1 bag for 4 days and 6 people wasn't enough. "

"We had an great stay at this beach house! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as described—clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. "Love how beautifully decorated the inside right at the ocean. You can hear the waves from the deck. It a short walk to beach loction was wonderful no over crowding. And beach was clean."
