Relax with the whole family at Las Paraiso Palmas. Nestled in Galveston's peaceful Palm Beach neighborhood, this family-friendly 4 bedroom/3 bathroom vacation home offers laid-back charm just a short stroll/drive from the beach. Enjoy quiet streets, private beach access, and close proximity to top attractions like Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, and fabulous island restaurants. Whether you're unwinding on the sand or exploring the sights, it's the perfect spot for a relaxing coastal getaway.

Location: Palm Beach community of Galveston, Texas

Beach access: 0.3 miles from the Pirates Beach access point - 30 second drive or 5 minute walk!

WINTER TEXAN RATE: If you’re trying to escape to the Gulf Coast for the winter. Please ask us about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1.

Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates.

Pest Control: Due to the coastal environment, mosquitoes & seasonal pests may be present. Professional pest control treatments are performed monthly.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet policy: Up to 2 pets are welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: There is room for up to 5 cars in the driveway. No street parking.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

Las Paraiso Palmas offers a relaxed beach vibe with plenty of space for families or groups. Step inside and discover a comfortable living area with an open floor plan. Both levels offer full kitchens and living areas. Whip up meals in both well-equipped kitchens with breakfast bar seating. After a full day of fun, unwind in one of two living rooms and watch your favorite shows on the flat-screen TVs – perfect for those groups trying separate adult and child activities.

Sleeping arrangements are flexible, catering to groups of various sizes. On the top level, one room features a king-size bed, another a queen over queen bunk bed, and a third offers two twin beds. Head downstairs where the fourth room features a queen bed. Still need extra sleeping space? The downstairs living area also doubles as a sleeping area with two Queen over Queen bunk beds. This a haven for kids or larger groups. Two full bathrooms upstairs and one full bathroom downstairs will keep mornings running smoothly in this home.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

Property is nice, clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. 5 minute walk to beach and area is quiet. Away from busy area of Galveston, which was perfect for us but close enough to go to the strand, out to eat etc. We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was very responsive anytime we reached out with questions. Upper level:As other reviews have said the bedroom with a queen bunk bed (room that has 1 bunk bed) you access it by going through the master bathroom. The washer and dryer is in a closet in this room as well. Not a big deal to us, our teenage boy slept in here but just so you’re aware of the layout. The room with the twin beds, you will need a fan, it does get warm in this room. Master bedroom was very comfortable and bed was perfect for us. Lower Area:We liked that the lower area was separate because our daughter and her family stayed here and it gave them their own place and space but could come together to eat and play games. The lower space has 2 queen bunk beds in open area as seen in description, a bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom. The bathroom does have a pretty nice size step up. Again this did not bother us but just making aware due to if someone had elderly people or handicapped it would not be accessible to them. There is no dining table in lower or upper area but there is a card table in the lower area. Again we would definitely stay here again and enjoyed our stay.

Great location! Sooo close to beach.

This home is located on the quieter side of Galveston near colorful houses on stilts. It is close to the park reserves and 5 minutes away from the beach. The beach is a public beach, no lifeguards but just perfect for families and quiet moments at sunrise or sunset. It's about 25 min or less depending on traffic to touristy spots such as historic Galveston. We loved that. The master suite was clean and nicely decorated as well as the upper living room. The lower kitchen area was also stocked. Appliances were new on both floors. I only gave it 4 stars because there were some thing I wish we had known before. The upper and lower floors are only connected by external stairs. If it was raining going up and down to check on kids would have been annoying. The room set up was not clear for us . Lower floor had 2 sets of bunk beds in the living room and one room with a door. Bottom floor had one bathroom. Upper floor has a beautiful master with king(?) Bed and attached to a lovely master bath with tub. Going through the master bath is the only way you can access another room with a bunkbed. Upper floor also has a closed door room with 2 twins (room was hot and needed a fan) and a 2nd bathroom. So tons of rooms, just a bit of a consternation to how to get folks in rooms that still had privacy. We could never get the upstairs dishwashing machine to work right and it was clear that the space was decorated quickly, but everything was there that you needed for a great beach stay!

The home is 2 separate units-up & downstairs. The overall feel is more a camp vibe rather than for multiple families. Downstairs has 2 bunk beds in the living area. There is no table just a small bar/counter area. The downstairs bathroom has a shower/tub with a 10in(?) step to get in. The step surface is shower tile & is slick. No grab bars.The back room downstairs had no window covering on the door. We used Scotch tape &trash bag cover.The downstairs had a glass top coffee table- not safe for small children and their toys. The floors were not swept when we arrived and the bathroom downstairs had brown-spots on the sink that we cleaned upon arrival with lysol wipes. There was food in the fridge from previous guests. Upstairs- There was no table for eating just a bar/countertop. The 3rd room upstairs is connected to the main bath & you have to go through the main bedroom. It also has the W&D.Main bath-no shower head. The 2nd bath no shower curtain & no window cover.The main room mattress had pee stainsMouse poop in upstairs kitchen cabinets. Dirty dishes in the cabinetThe staff brought mouse traps on2nd day & window tint &shower curtain on the 4th day. Tint was placed on the wrong side so u can see into the bath from outside. The shower curtain had no liner and no shower hooks so it was never hung. They never returned with the items they said they would bring.New appliances throughout.They did communicate well through the app and make effort to correct

Beautiful property! Very spacious and open floor plan! Host was very responsive. King bed upstairs very soft and comfortable! Other beds are a little hard and need toppers. Porch light doesn’t stay on unless directly in front of. Jet tub does not work but is not listed! Took a bit to cool down but stayed cold after! Need fans in front and back room upstairs as vents do not push a lot of air. Plenty of parking and pet friendly. Could use a large table for family eating! Spacious porches up stairs front and back! Large bbq pit! Short walk to beach! Short drive for beach access! Raised tub downstairs is great for bathing babies! Could use some throw blankets! Property was very fitting for our group! I loved that it was like having 2 separate homes! We will be renting this property again! coffee cups are needed at the property! The kitchens were stocked with a few pots and pans, 4 cups, 4 plates, 4 bowls, a couple cookie sheets, a crockpot, blender, Keurig, coffee pot, and some utensils and silverware! There was a towel and wash cloth on each bed, 1 per person! Thank you so much for your hospitality! We can not wait to return.
