"We had an amazing stay here, upon arrival we noted that there was plenty of available parking spaces and we received a lovely welcome from the staff. Over the weekend, we often enjoyed a few drinks in the pub as well as a lovely dinner there. We were made to feel very comfortable, welcomed and relaxed at all times. The food was very good (especially the freshly cooked breakfast made to order). Many thanks for a perfect stay!"

"What a fantastic find this place was! We had such a lovely stay and the breakfast was just perfection (compliments to the chef 💗). The only tiny thing we could find, at a real push, to improve on was just that the toilet in our room was a little wobbly. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone"

"Room and bathroom beautifully equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were amazing. All staff were very welcoming and hospitable. Great base to explore the area. It was unfortunate while we were there that the lift was out of order, making it difficult for my elderly disabled mother to get to and from our first floor room. Access to a lounge or somewhere to sit in the evenings would have made it perfect."

"The house and grounds are stunning. The rooms are basic, but this does not matter to me, as long as the bed is comfortable, which it was. The breakfast was good. The evening meals were limited in choice, but fine for me. Great to be able to sit out on the terrace and look onto the manicured lawns and topiary. My only gripe was that people were moving around in the early hours and this was very audible, but that’s not the fault of the property, except for perhaps making the doors less slammable....

"Heel hartelijke ontvangst. Geweldig ontbijt (Eggs Royal en Full English). Voetbal (Europa League) voor ons op een Nederlandse club gezet. Lekker eten. Kamer iets aan kleine kant, maar heerlijk stil en mooi ingericht. Parkeren wat lastiger. Je wandelt echter zo de stad in langs de Cam en door een park. Zeker aan te raden."
