"This is a family-owned place and the pride of ownership shows. It is spotless, as they are constantly cleaning. Nothing is too much to ask and they will organize whatever you want (such as snorkeling trips, cars, etc). They will do laundry for you at $6 per load. Massages were amazing at $12 per hour. Their chef is just spectacular (lots of people from other resorts were coming to eat) and she will give you a private cooking class at $25 per person, which includes your meal. "Shankara Parada Villas has been a wonderful stay! Great location for a walk to the beach and restaurants. Our lovely room had a great view. The very friendly staff go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your stay. We had yummy breakfasts daily. We look forward to going back to stay. "

"This was a very nice hotel but a bit far from the main Amed areas. If you have a car, definitely recommend the hotel. Best coral before the hotel. The staff was very nice and hotel is clean. The price is a bit off scale for the region that is why possibly there were more staff than customers. The breakfast can be better. Kitchen staff is very skilled. "

"Nice room, everything clean & working nicely. Amazing view from room. It's a more classic Bali design, not a modern design but everything worked nicely, good Wifi. Room had terrace overlooking the ocean with a dining room table and lounge area. Amed is a quiet area, but a solid choice. "

"Vi nød vores dage på Aashaya Jasri Resort. Vi nød de skønne omgivelser, haven og poolen. Personalet var meget venlige, omsorgsfulde og havde det fineste øje for vores ønsker. Vi vil varmt anbefale dette sted til andre. "

"Stayed here last year & liked the cottages & restaurant so we returned this year. Staff at restaurant & house keeper are lovely. Cottages clean, food great & right on the best beach for snorkelling. We saw 2 large turtles & many coloured fish & huge coral around the coral garden not far off shore."

"The staff were a delight to be served by. Food was excellent quality. Clean rooms , comfy bed and great hot shower. The bungalows are set in a lush garden , with beautiful pool.Laundry and local supermarket very nearby. "

"Very comfortable and spacious room, with a small desk, 4 post bed with mosquito net, air conditioning and decent size storage room. Bathroom was nice too. Staff were very nice and friendly and helped with laundry, scooter rental and tours. Great location to Lipah beach with amazing snorkeling to see coral fish and turtles"

"Great villas very comfortable. Everything worked except the phone and TV. Fourposter king size bed pure luxury. Eating in was a real pleasure overlooking the water. Pool side close hand the kitchen so no problems ordering munchies and drinks. Nice stop over or longer stay diving like I did."

Note that the noise from the bar next door is really loud as mentioned by other reviews, but it stopped by 11 and is generally very peaceful after that."

"My wife and I just returned from a trip to Bali for our 25th anniversary. This was our second hotel out of 3 which we stayed at during our week there as we traveled around the island. We both had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend this homestay to any others coming to Bali. In retrospect thinking about the 3 locations (Ubud, east side, and southern peninsula) this location was our favorite.
