"The castle was a true castle and maintained well. The staff is every area we’re kind and friendly. This is a very nice place to enjoy adult only accommodations and my wife and I would stay here again if ever in the area. Food was also top quality and served as if you were at a 5 star restaurant. "Such a lovely 3 night stay at the Colesbourne Inn. We were in a room in the little cottage. It was lovely with the only slight downside being that you can hear the people in the room upstairs. The food was lovely and the staff really friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back."

"Beautiful location but very tired. Great location just outside of Bath but the hotel is very dated and needs a refurb. Rooms are clean but dark wood furniture and bathroom facilities definitely need an update. Breakfast was average in a very old fashioned dining area and buffer layout was amateurish compared with modern hotels. That said, lovely location and great pub at the bottom of the driveway!"

The room that I was allocated ( room 6) looked good if dated, with lots of sockets but no USB charging points, it had a huge bed which was too soft for me but would suit others and that’s when it went down hill. There was a noise every 30 seconds or so like the room above me was flushing its toilets. I thought it would eventually stop but no. In the end I asked for a change of room and was asked if I had touched...

"Enjoyed staying here lovely old Cotswold stone style Manor House room was fine looked over garden so was quiet I liked having a room that allowed you to open windows ! Highlight for me was the breakfast everything to my liking and staff all very pleasant."
