"Perfect central location. The staff texted ahead of time to provide nearby parking recommendations, and were friendly and accommodating to our slightly earlier check-in. Also extra love the special design touch of the lobby decor: a mnemonic device sentence with the major downtown street names written in pink neon."

"The room was very spacious, had a great view, and kitchen was perfect!"

"Fenix Hotel is a modified apartment complex that is now run as a hotel. The concept is cool, modern, and honestly works great! It is very close to walk of fame and Chinese Theater! There are gates with codes all around the property, it is very safe. The rooms are clean, and well stocked with everything you need and more. Several families that were staying in the hotel were very clearly launching there for days at Universal and Disney. Overall, it’s a fun, unique stay in the heart of Hollywood. "

"I absolutely loved this apt and hope it is available the next time we visit LA. it accommodated our entire family, and we felt welcome and at home. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, grocery close enough, and transportation (train). Parking was not convenient in the evenibg, but that is expected in downtown LA and has NOTHING to do with the apt itself, just our poor planning. 5stars"

"The town home was spacious and perfect for our party of 14. Only one parking spot in the courtyard but street parking was not an issue. Very close to Hollywood and easy drive everywhere else."

"The pool in pictures is not the pool at property. There’s a hot tub on the roof. No pool towels. Place was clean and neat. Just promised my kids a pool and there wasn’t one so it was a bust in that sense. Also the fees were outrageous, I am military and don’t make a lot of money and this place was super expensive. "

"Super location! Never in my wildest dreams would i have imagined sleeping to the sound of waves. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The owner spent a lot of time with us sharing activities in Long Beach. I grew up here but a lot has changed in 20 years! Be aware that while the owner has equipped the studio very well and tried to make it work for breakfasts, there is no full kitchen, only a microwave and a refrigerator. "This is your “go to” LA resort style vacation home. It was absolutely wonderful. Pictures are spot on, beds/pillows/linens/towels were all A. Best sleep I’ve ever had away from home, bar none!
