Space
As you climb the stairs to the welcoming porch, you'll be greeted by the charm of "Spacious Cottage Charm."
Step inside and you'll find a grand hallway leading you in. On either side, 2 bedrooms call out for restful nights. The first bedroom features a king bed for ultimate comfort, while the adjacent room has a queen bed and an ensuite for added convenience.
As you continue down the hallway, you'll find 2 more bedrooms. The third bedroom houses a plush queen bed, while the fourth bedroom offers a comfy king single bed, perfect for a quiet retreat.
Further along, the inviting lounge room invites you to relax and unwind with its smart TV. The spacious kitchen and dining area create the heart of the home, where you can whip up and enjoy delicious meals together.
Step through the dining room and you'll find the entertaining courtyard, a great spot for al fresco dining and gatherings. With an outdoor table, chairs and a BBQ, it's the perfect place to enjoy meals under the open sky.
At the back of the property, the laundry area adds convenience to your stay. Head upstairs to the media loft for a cinematic experience. Equipped with a projector, it's the perfect setting for movie nights and entertainment, adding a bit of magic to your stay.

Guests can access the property at any time via a secure lockbox. Please note there are 6 steps up to the front door and a flight of stairs to the media loft.

Launceston is a beautiful city blending both city and country charms, with heritage streetscapes, a slice of urban wilderness and gourmet food and drink available at every turn. We aren’t just biassed, many agree, with Launceston named Australia’s best town to visit in 2022!
Nestled amongst these iconic buildings, you will find many delicious cafés and restaurants, an array of shops and boutiques, a vast range of cocktail bars and pubs and many amenities and recreational spaces.
Launceston has many things to see and do including the vibrant Harvest Market every Saturday morning, the Princess Theatre, hosting local, interstate, and international performances, the Star Theatre for a cosy, cinematic experience, and many pubs and venues that host amazing live, musical talents.
Often referred to as the 'Lygon’ Street of Launceston, you will find some of Launceston’s most popular eateries and amenities on the illustrious Charles Street. George St is also known as ‘Eat Street’ with a range of restaurants, bars, gin houses and cafes to cater for most tastes.
The Cataract Gorge is a spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.
The City Park which is known for its beautiful oak tree gardens, playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory and cheeky snow monkeys. Nearby, you will find Penny Royal World. This attraction provides you and the family with a fabulous day out, with boat rides, rock climbing, rope courses, and more found here. For the adults, Penny Royal also provides a beautiful atmosphere where you can enjoy a wine or coffee.

To get the most out of your stay, to be able to explore all that Launceston and its surrounds have to offer, a car is recommended. Additionally, there are many alternative options listed below:
METRO BUS SERVICE: Metro bus service provides transportation throughout Launceston and its surrounding suburbs each day. To access timetables, routes, and prices, please visit the Metro Tasmania Website.
FREE TIGER BUS: The bus travels around the city. There are bus stops located nearby outside Princes Square Park and the Launceston General Hospital. It is easy to spot – painted with the black and brown stripes of a Tasmanian Tiger! For timetables and routes, please see the Metro Tasmania Website (Free Tiger Bus).
INTERCITY BUS SERVICE: Tasmania has you covered with a variety of intercity bus services to make your city-to-city travels a breeze. If you're in the North West region, which includes Burnie, Wynyard, Devonport, and more take a peek at the 'MerseyLink' bus service website for their timetables. If you're heading to or from Launceston and the southern spots like Hobart, make sure to swing by the 'Kinetic' website. Please note that 'Kinetic' has you covered for some routes to and from Devonport as well.
ELECTRIC SCOOTERS: You will find purple electric scooters scattered around Launceston. To access these, please download the App ‘Beam’. Please wear the helmet provided and be safe!

We have a gardener who will attend this property from time to time. It is unlikely he will attend during your stay, however if he needs to attend the property during your stay, we will notify you.
There is space in the driveway for parking one small to medium sized car. Alternatively there is free on-street parking which varies between two hour time restrictions to unlimited.
