We had an amazing stay at this house!Everything was exactly as described. The house is very clean, comfortable, and completely stocked with everything we needed (and even things we didn't know we needed). The beds were comfortable, good size pool, with nice touches everywhere....puzzles, games, coffee bar, etc. and the whole place had a really welcoming vibe. It was like a home away from home.The location was great. The neighborhood was nice. It was close to everything we wanted to do. Where it stood apart from other properties was the host. She is GREAT. She put a lot of thought into the design of this house with all the little extras. She is very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Lakeland House

Our stay at the Lakeland House in Florida was wonderful. The only reason I gave the Check In process 4 stars was because we weren’t able to get in immediately. Evidently the cleaning lady dead bolted the door so we were unable to get in with our code. However, our host came as quickly to help us out. Thank you Debra for everything!! If we go back to that area, we would definitely use your home again!!

Great vacation!

I cannot say enough about how accommodating and welcoming the owner was. She answered every text quickly and took care of everything right away. The property had everything we needed. We are definitely thinking about coming here again next year.

Lakeland vacation

The house was very nice and super clean. The host, Debbie was wonderful and went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay. She made suggestions for local attractions for our children to enjoy. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjory centraFlorida!

Nice house, lots of amenities

We really enjoyed our stay here over Christmas. Lots of amenities included, well stocked kitchen, and the dogs loved the fenced in backyard! It was too chilly to use the pool, but it was clean and well maintained. There was an urgent maintenance issue, but it was handled promptly. Debra was friendly and communicated well from check in to check out. I would stay here again.

Great Rental

My wife and I stayed for a week and couldn't ask for anything better. The property was in great shape after the hurricane. The neighborhood was quiet with a variety of restaurants all close to home. A grocery store just down the street which was convenient since my wife and I both love to cook. The host was easy to communicate with which made check in easy. The house was very clean and up to date and the pool was a nice added touch. Will definetely go back

Peaceful Rest

My friends and I had a very peaceful stay at this location. We work over nights and sleep during the day. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and allowed us to rest as needed. The pool was nice to relax on and even cooked on the available grill a few times.

Great Time at the Lakeland Escape

My 3 sisters and I stayed this Lakeland escape so we could visit with family who live a couple of streets away. It was very convenient for our trip's purposes. The pool area is great, but a little too chilly during our stay to take advantage of it. We all agreed our grandkids would love it. We ate at Fred's Market and Restaurant, which is very good country cooking. We also ate at Harry's downtown, when we went to the First Friday event - it was Mardi Gras, so very crowded, but still very enjoyable. The servings at Harry's are extra large, so it would be easy to split an entree. Overall, we enjoyed staying at the Lakeland Escape and would use it again when we visit Lakeland - it's a good location for day trips to a number of tourist attractions!

Had a great stay. Convenient to the park. The pool wasn’t heated but they told us that. We didn’t plan to swim anyway- still nice to sit beside it. Amenities were fine. Easy to find the property

Very nice house, great amenities and location.

The Property manager was great with communicating check-in, check-out, and she was very responsive whenever we had questions. The property was well maintained and had many updates and amenities. We were very happy with our visit and wouod recommend this location to anyone visiting the beautiful area or Lakeland!

Florida Trip

Host was outstanding. Answered every question immediately that we had. There was a snack basket along with a bottle of red wine and wine glasses, which was very welcoming after a long trip. In the morning, we found a coffee nook in the kitchen with a Keurig with a wide selection of coffees to choose from. This lasted the entire trip. We had 1st floor laundry, which was very nice with new washer and dryer. Newer kitchen with new appliances. Everything that we needed was there. We didn't have to buy anything, even plenty of towels. Comfortable sleeping rooms. Plenty of space and felt at home. During my trip, I couldn't get my grandson out of the pool. All-in-all, our stay was very pleasurable and comfortable, considering we were there for family health issues. We will return. Thank you Debbie....

Phenomenal stay!

This was a fantastic find! Location was great for Legoland and other surrounding entertainment. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept. The first thing we noticed as we walked in was how clean the house was. Pool was also clean and amenities were just what we needed. Communication with the homeowner was great! We would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing and Stressful

Issues we encountered; Front Door • Dead bolt did not work Master Bath • So small that there is no room for a towel rack • Entire toilet rocks back and forth • Toilet seat moves around, bolt broke out • Shower – never hot water, lukewarm after wait • Exhaust vent does not work Second Bath • Toilet lid broken • Cannot flush, chain broken Master Bedroom • Accordion closet door fell off • Dresser cheap and unusable – wood frame with paper drawers that fall out when pulled. One pull coming off 2nd Bedroom • Door fell off closet Living Room • Carpet permanently turned up on edges. Tripping hazard. • No instructions on what is included on TV. Never did find local channels. Kitchen • No dishwasher Patio • Kitchen sink water drains directly, through a hole in the wall, on the patio near the patio sitting area. Not sure if this is healthy or in code. • Air conditioner located next to the sitting area. When running cannot hear each other. • Screen on door ugly back yard needs repair Pool • Had to swim elsewhere. Pool had a ring of residue around the edge and dirt in the bottom all week. Saturday cleaning man never showed up. Back Yard • Ugly is all I can say Laundry Room • Dryer lint basket handle broken
