"We couldn't stay at this home because the sink and toilets backed up into the shower and bathtub. The owner did not respond when we asked them to call us about it. We had to find other arrangements for 8 people and my dog at the last minute at 7 pm the Saturday night of a holiday weekend. VRBO keeps asking us to wait longer for the host to respond to our refund request, but we are already home and this is just ridiculous. It's been a week already. I am beyond angry and disgusted."

"Great little lake house that fit our family of 4 for a quick weekend. Nicely remodeled. Owner was very quick to respond to questions and accommodate a couple requests for us. The best part was hanging out on the deck and enjoying the lake view and breeze with extended family who were staying at a hotel."

"The pictures on the VRBO & Redfin are old. Prior to our stay, I had multiple exchanges with JJ, the owner. Two weeks prior to our stay, I read over past reviews and noticed that on January 6, 2023, Allie V wrote a review listing multiple problems. I asked if those issues had been addressed. He said that he was going to have a handyman come out, but that didn't happen. There wasn't hot water the entire weekend in the main part of the house and no water at all in the other section of the home. I...

"Well worth renting this home. We stayed here for a Great Lakes graduation and long weekend with our new sailor. Beautiful home, lots of nice touches. Windows and porches overlooking lake. Balcony off primary bedroom. Plenty of space. Great TV streaming access for relaxing evenings. Well apportioned kitchen. Thanks to the owners for a smooth process and great stay!"

"The house was very clean and nicely decorated. It was also bigger than the pictures look. It was located near several things to do and plenty of places to eat.This would be a good place to stay again. "

"We stayed 3 nights for our 18 year olds Navy Graduation as it was close to base.The house was great for us and our teens. It had a retro kind of vibe. We enjoyed the ping pong table and board games for family time. Check in was simple and the hosts responded veey quickly with questions."

"Home is an older home but redone nice. Since it is an older home the floors squeak a lot when walking on them. The heat was hard to regulate since it’s the old radiator heat but once it gets warm you will be toasty. The half bath in the basement isn’t appealing since the basement leading to it is old and dreary looking. The bath upstairs is really nice. The backyard is nice. "

"My extended family had a wonderful time this passed weekend at this Spring Grove property. Gregoria was a thoughtful, gracious host who provided us with everything we needed and then some! She had a few really special and generous surprises awaiting us! The house description is beautiful, yet still doesn't do it justice. It was spacious, very functional, and really, really beautiful. "Rented the home for my sons wedding. Had a great stay. Wish the listing would have said how many bedrooms were upstairs or downstairs. 1 bedroom only downstairs and 1 half bath downstairs. Made it hard for older family that cant do stairs to shower. Also you have to go through a bedroom to get to another. Kitchen had some items but nothing big enough to cook for the amount of people it will accomodate. Also towels not enough for amount of people staying but owner did rectify. Would suggest a...
