"Apartment was spotless, for a central location it was incredibly peaceful. The overall appearance is beginning to look a little shabby, and all needs a little TLC. Toilet flush broken...main bed very wobbly."

"Annexe to owner's house. We made the best of our stay, travelled around the lakes & enjoyed the hot tub. Property is clean and tidy. However, it seems to have been neglected of late, there are some easy changes which would have made a huge difference to the quality & comfort of our stay:
Key code sent just a few hrs before check in at 4pm (we were already travelling & concerned we wouldn't be able to get in on arrival; a number of light bulbs need replacing (eg only ONE of the 4 cooker hood...

"This is an excellent property, clean and welcoming, full range of modern appliances, internet access etc.Very comfortable and we had a great time.My only niggle is that there is no coffee machine/cafetière so no coffee in the morning.. if this could be added the house would be perfect.."

"We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cottage. Everything one could need in the cottage and in such a beautiful location. Walks from the front door! A short drive into Windermere and the rest of the Lake District too. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay here again. The only one thing we did not enjoy massively was the low pressure from the shower. But that is splitting hairs! A big Thanks to cottages.com and this delightful cottage"
