Welcome to Holoholo Hale in the beautiful town of Kailua on the island of Oahu. Kailua is the home of two of the best beaches in the world, Kailua Beach Park and Lanikai Beach. The home is a short drive to all the island has to offer including Diamond Head, the pill box hike, the Northshore, and Waikiki. (Contact us for flexible stays)

Our Holoholo property has and includes, two houses on beautiful, lush property minutes to the beach and Kailua Town. The main house has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a brand-new Chef’s Kitchen, equipped with granite countertops, a 6 burner gas range and oversize refrigerator. The main house is an open concept home, with the kitchen leading into the living and dining room, along with the outdoor spaces. The Ohana house has 3 bedrooms, and 2 additional baths, complete with a 2nd kitchen upstairs. Combined these houses make a perfect setting for larger gatherings of family and friends. The expansive outdoor lanai has several eating areas including a tiki bar, a large table and chairs and comfortable conversational seating. The private pool, set between the houses makes for the perfect center point for your Hawaiian vacation.

Both houses have all the conveniences such as wireless internet, Smart TV's, and A/C units in every room. We have not spared on the details, all of the rooms are comfortably furnished with Hawaiian treasures, top of the line beds, and other luxury furnishings.

This property is a legally established dwelling and must be made available for 30 consecutive days. There is no penalty for early departures so you can book for a shorter stay as mutually agreed upon (please contact us for questions). This is in accordance with city and County of Honolulu ordinance section 19-18.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was perfect for three families with children under 2 in that it had all the amenities to feel like this was your home away from home. There were ample towels for the home, pool, and beach. The kitchen was stocked with appliances to cook breakfast and dinners. The location is perfect for families hanging in Kailua and it was close to the roadways to jump to Honolulu. The hosts / manager were very communicative. It truly was perfect and we hope to stay here in the future!

Family Friendly

Plenty of space for families traveling together. Central to all locations on the island. Well stocked property and great communication with host. The pool between the two houses allowed the kids to continue swimming after a day of adventuring.

1 week stay with 14 people

We had an amazing time staying in the house. Plenty of space for everyone and a well stocked house. The location was a perfect distance from everything. 40 minute drive to north shore, 25 minutes from the city area. The younger adults part of our group conveniently took an Uber a few nights and did nightlife in Waikiki. Short 5-10 minute drives to the beach and different trails. We were all so happy. Thank you for having us Tim and Brittany.

Perfect Location & Space!

If you are looking for a great location and want to travel the island over your stay this is it!!! We stayed with a large group of 14 and there was so much space for each family. (The 5 kiddos age 7-11 slept all together in the bunk bed room but there was additional space if the kids didn’t want to room together) It was awesome to have the main house and then the second house which both had their own separate entrances. This home is incredibly well stocked to do your own cooking but more importantly the beach gear. There was a ton of beach chairs, mats, toys, snorkel gear (saved us on renting at Hanauma Bay), and plentiful amounts of towels. You are a short 10 min drive to beautiful LANIKAI and a larger beach park Kailua. We spent a lot of time on the north shore which is about an hour drive (one of the most beautiful on the island) and only 30-35 min into Waikiki. The best part was being 6 minutes from the center of the town in Kailua which has every grocery store, target, Walgreens, shops, coffee, restaurants that you could need :) Truly a perfect stay! Easy communication with the owners and an amazing spot for you to spend your vacation.

Fabulous stay in Kailua. Hosts Tim and Brittany were wonderful and responsive. The property is very well equipped with everything you need for a relaxed Hawaiian vacation. My brother and sisters with our families thoroughly enjoyed this house. Would highly recommend it!

Amazing property and great location!

We recently stayed here for our family vacation and our wedding. When I say this house is perfect for large families, I mean it was perfect. Our boys had the bunk room and had such a fun time. The girls each got their own room along with one other bedroom in the main house. My brother and his significant other had the apartment upstairs of the pool house and my now Husband and I used the downstairs of the pool house. I felt that this was the perfect home to be able to celebrate and hang out together, yet all still have some privacy. The kitchen was well stocked, and the home is close to grocery stores which was very nice as we cooked a lot at the house. I really appreciated that there was plenty of dishwasher detergent, dish soap, kitchen towels, shampoo/conditioner etc. We left a lot of things behind for the next tenants and you can tell others did too as it was very well stocked with seasonings, etc. The home has a ton of pool and house towels which was also a huge benefit. We had a total of 12 people at the house and never ran out of towels. I did a couple loads of towels throughout the week but always had plenty of towels while doing laundry. For those who travel in large groups.... you will understand the value in that. I also felt that the Owners were amazing to communicate with and very responsive. They even sent me a text the day we arrived to check in and ensure everything went well. If the opportunity presented itself again, I would absolutely stay here again.

Stay at Kailua House

Our family of 11 enjoyed our stay at the Kailua House. The house had all that we needed. The large kitchen and pool fit our family’s needs. Close to the beach, restaurants and stores made the stay more enjoyable. The beach is close enough that my wife and I, both seniors, used the available bikes to bike to the beach, with a stop at Buzz’s for refreshments. 😜 All would recommend this rental to friends and family.

Great location for larger family vacation

The two house set up with the pool in the middle was great for our larger family. The pool was clean and had plenty of toys to keep the kids busy. The kitchen had all the cooking utensils we needed to take care of the meals we served and offered plenty of seating for the family. There was plenty of parking out front in the driveway and the neighborhood was clean and felt safe. The location is close to stores, restaurants, beautiful beaches and the home came stocked with beach chairs, towels and boogie boards. There is even an outdoor area to wash the sand off when returning from your ocean adventures. Having a working laundry on site was a plus but we didn’t find an iron so that might be a nice thing to add. Tim (the owner) was responsive and helpful offering suggestions for places to visit and eat near the property. The only bed that seemed to need attention was the small daybed. The mattress was pretty wore out and was the only complaint our group had. Thanks for the memories and sharing your home with our group. We had a great time!

Family Trip 2023

We were so very happy with this beautiful property. It was perfect having the family stay together in one place. Everyone had their own private space and the common areas accommodated all 12 of us for meals and just having family time. It was a much better and relaxing experience than trying to stay in a hotel.The hosts were very attentive and helpful, even providing a list of dining and activities they thought we would enjoy. I will definitely stay here again when we have another family gathering in the future. I have already recommended this property to friends planning family gatherings in the near future.Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your wonderful house!

A great location for our large family.

We had a really great time at this property. We were there to renew our wedding vows on the beach, and had all of our children and grandchildren with us. The hosts were incredibly accommodating. After the vow renewal we got a little loud one night and they handled that with great discretion. I would completely recommend.

Excellent place!

This property was excellent. The house is very large and allows for privacy for multiple families. It had all the extras, bikes, floats, snorkels, beach towels, etc. Location is great to many beaches. We would definitely stay there again. Hosts were super accommodating to us and very responsive. Five star accommodations!

Perfect Paradise

My family and I went to Oahu for my brother’s wedding. He is a local and recommended Kailua to be the perfect place to stay. The house was absolutely wonderful. Every detail was thought of. We did not need or want for anything. There were games, toys, bicycles, beach chairs, and snorkel gear! I could go on and on. And the best of it all, the hosts were quick to respond and incredibly accommodating. Some of us arrived a day before the rental began. I messaged and asked if we could check in early the next day and they allowed us to go at 12pm instead of 4pm without question! This was extremely helpful because we had no place to go after checking out of our hotel. Then on our last day we asked that we check out late because we wanted to spend the day at the most beautiful beach that was right down the street and to be able to shower before heading to the airport. They asked US what would be best and allowed us to check out at 2pm rather than 11am. I don’t know that I’ve ever dealt with friendlier and more helpful hosts in my many many travels. There was also so much to do and everything was within a 30 minute drive. We were 8 adults (two couples) and my brother and his wife stayed the night a couple of times with plenty of room to spare. We discussed how we could have had at least 5 more people there comfortably. I got to stay in the pool house upstairs apartment. It was nice that there were areas of privacy where I could get away for a while. The place was so much better than the pictures showed. I would choose this place and these hosts over and over again! Thank you Tim and Brittany for the best home away from home!

Way More Than A Place To Stay

My family and I can't recommend this property enough. It wasn't just a place to sleep at night while in Kailua. There was so much to do at the house with the pool, outdoor seating with a bar, grill, and television, foosball and ping pong tables, and more toys and inflatables for the pool than our family of nine could use. Tim and Brittany offered bikes, beach chairs and beach toys if we wanted to use them. Overall, it was an excellent vacation, due in large part to Tim and Brittany's efforts and full-scale service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

40th anniversary trip

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this property. We have done other VRBO properties, this was by far the best stocked house. We had everything we needed. The pool was a nice full size pool that we took full advantage of. Location was wonderful and allowed us to experience many different places. Having the two houses allowed my husband and myself have our own space, while everyone else stayed in the main house. We would definitely recommend this place! Thank you for a vacation we will never forget.

Great family vacation

This property had plenty of room to host our entire family of 12, while still allowing everyone to have a private space of their own. The kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate large groups (I need that stove in my life!), and there’s a large grill for outdoor cooking. The foosball and ping pong tables, gaming systems, and other entertainment options ensured that everyone had something to do that they enjoyed!

The perfect family vacation!

This beautiful home with guest house was PERFECT for my family and me (9 adults and 1 school aged child), and we absolutely will be back! The bedrooms were all well-sized (including the family bedroom with multiple bunk beds!) with lots of bathrooms/showers, large driveway, and a guest house that allowed some extra privacy for extended family. We were so comfortable in the grand kitchen with massive gas range and dishwasher, outdoor gas grill, large outdoor and indoor dining tables, outdoor and indoor TV, and pool! Everything you would need is there - lots of beach towels, snorkels and masks (which we used to practice snorkeling in the pool!), cooking supplies, washer/dryer with laundry supplies etc! The Kailua and Lanikai beach were around 2mi and 3mi away, respectively, so we chose to drive but didn’t have any issues with parking. The location is more residential (and therefore close to multiple grocery stores), and we preferred the more relaxed vibe and the nearby beaches were more beautiful and less crowded than Waikiki. Lastly, communication with Tim and Brittany was very fast and easy! Basically, everyone in our group wholeheartedly recommend staying here - your family will not regret it!

The house, location & hosts... ALL PERFECT!

This home exceeded our expectations! It had everything we needed & then some! The space was perfect for our large group, the pool house was also well equipped & the pool was loved by all! The location was nestled in a quiet neighborhood, around the corner from stores & delicious food choices! The beaches and hikes nearby also made for an exciting trip! Above all, the host made the trip seamless. They were available from my very first outreach and gave plenty of insight to the property and clear instructions of what to do while staying & checking out. I cannot wait to book this house again next year!
