"Truly amazing hotel with great staff, stunning rooftop patio, excellent food and drink and really an enjoyable stay. Extra thanks to those working the front desk and bar as they made the lobby and rooftop feel like an oasis. We ate and drank at the hotel numerous times. It's located in a really nice area close to major sites and easy access to transit. Choose here! If we come back the only thing id do is get a river view room. They were also great with kids and allergies."

"Great property and well kept grounds. The onsen was fantastic. Welcome drink and breakfast were nice touches. They set up a baby crib and baby bedding and blanket for us, which was perfect. Only draw back is the location is a 10-15 minute walk to train station and restaurant area. They also did not have room for us for dinner in the hotel lobby "

"We loved our stay at Saju Kyoto. We arrived early and they looked after our bags until it was time to check in. When we checked in we were served matcha tea and Japanese cakes in our room. The room was very tiny but so comfortable, cosy and traditional. The futons were the most comfortable beds we had during all our time in Japan! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel offers free sake and tea tasting which were both a lot of fun, we looked forward to coming back to the...

"The Abita is a boutique type hotel in a central but relatively quiet location in Kyoto. The room amenities and fittings were top rated with nice artwork touches. The staff and systems showed good management and effort to assist the guests stay. The location was good, easy walk to local subway station and further walk/subway ride to restaurants/nightlife and daytime sightseeing activity. Highly recommended for above average hotel stay in Kyoto. "
