The redesigned foyer and common areas are appealing and well designed, our family room was clean and comfortable and nicely put together in terms of style. The restaurant area is less successful in terms of design and we would not rate the breakfast above average. Reception do not pick up calls and it takes 4-attempts before they answer. 2.The room phone was broken. I advised Reception that I wanted to order Room service and tried calling with my mobile but no one picked up. I had to take my toddler out at 19:30 in search of supper. "We had a wonderful 2 night stay at The Crown Inn. The location is perfect and easy to find, parking was simple in the car park opposite. We had the four poster room which was amazing. Very spacious and a massive bathroom too. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We loved our stay "

The double room was spacious, clean, comfortable and with an amazing close view of the Winchester cathedral (practically over its grounds).
