Great spot for a night’s stay over. Lovely village where the pub/BnB are the only commercial premises. Really helpful and friendly staff.

Great location for a getaway. Stockbridge was a hidden gem for us. Well kept pub type hotel with a large room and at a good price. Decent breakfast.

Hi, I very much enjoyed my stay at The Fox. The rooms are of a very high standard and very clean. Housekeeping is excellent. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious. Would highly recommend a stay.

Quite peaceful stay away from major towns, staff thoughtful and willing, nice room with large bed (some low ceilings). Excellent evening meal.

I have stayed at the Fox before and will again. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and very clean and the extra touches (tea/coffee facilities and cold milk in the fridge) are thoughtful and very appreciated. The breakfast is delicious and very thoughtful. I thought £7 for 2 slices of sourdough bread and £5 for a bottle of water to take to my room was a bit excessive!

The Fox is a perfect place to stay. Close to Winchester yet far enough away to feel like you are out in the country. The rooms are large and comfortable and the restaurant is excellent.

Beautiful pub and rooms in a stunning village. The staff were so friendly, the breakfast was delicious and the price is really reasonable - we'll definitely be back 😊

Room was clean and good fans already provided in room on arrival since we were in the middle of a heatwave and the older building has no air-con. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious!

I had a lovely stay at the Fox. A lovely room with tea, coffee, and fresh milk in the fridge. The staff is friendly and very welcoming and I had a lovely supper and the breakfast is superb. If only all the rooms had bath tubs, it would be perfect!

If you’re looking for the cutest true English village this is it!!! Very remote, but fantastic, had a wonderful dinner, and cocktails. The staff, were wonderful, from the young bartender, waiter at dinner, but the women that served breakfast was just the kindness and interesting, l could chat with her for hours. Book this place! Stayed before a cruise

Our stay at the Fox was absolutely lovely. The car park offered plenty of space and the staff were welcoming. The room was clean and homely, despite the building’s age dating back to World War II. It was kept in excellent condition, almost as if it were brand new. Breakfast was delicious and Tina, our waitress, was fantastic. We genuinely enjoyed her service and conversation with us. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Winchester. You won’t be disappointed!

What a beautiful place in an idyllic setting. Our room was extremely spacious and could have benefited from a portable air conditioning unit as we were located at the top of the building but the heat didn’t detract from our experience. The bed was large and comfortable and the tea/coffee, and biscuits were top quality. The fresh milk in the fridge and chilled water was an unexpected bonus ! We had dinner in the restaurant which was outstanding as was the breakfast which not only had exceptional choices but again the focus on quality once more exceeded all our expectations. I cannot recommend this place enough definitely well worth booking !!!
