An unfortunate experience of poor service in an otherwise pleasant, perfectly located hotel.
1. Reception do not pick up calls and it takes 4-attempts before they answer.
2.The room phone was broken. I advised Reception that I wanted to order Room service and tried calling with my mobile but no one picked up. I had to take my toddler out at 19:30 in search of supper.
I specifically stayed in the hotel to have access to room service.
3. The room phone was never replaced / fixed. So check out experience was rather stressful trying to exit the room with a toddler and several bags, that really required a porter to help us with.
4. Charges were applied for breakfast buffet we never had. I had to insist that I purposely prepaid for room only. I have a toddler and had no intent to eat in the restaurant. We only required room service.
5. Parking directions for the overflow require talking to reception several times. This information could easily be published on the website or sent in the confirmation email, including pictures of the obscured entrance.
