"Loved this place. When we entered, we were nicely greeted by the reception and our bags were taken in the room. They were very friendly and always helped out with things we needed. Breakfast was great and rooms were very clean."

"Lovely hotel right on the canal that gives you the perfect ultimate Venice experience. Rooms are somewhat basic but neat and tidy with amenities. The front desk was very accommodating and helpful and helped organize some fun tours for us during our stay"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Excelsior. This was our first time in Venice and the first stay of our honeymoon and it was a great experience! We enjoyed using the provided boat taxi to and from Venice, along with the private beach access and dining options at the hotel. Breakfast in the morning was also great. We would recommend this stay for a trip to Venice!"

"Wonderful hotel - 10 min walk to S. Marco piazza. Room was large and very comfortable. Staff at desk very helpful answering questions and giving dining recommendations. Hotel right on the canal and took gondola ride right from the door of the hotel. Breakfast very nice too."
