"Our family was visiting the area for a few days and were so pleased with our pick. It is the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. Not a speck of dirt or dust anywhere. Communication was great but the best is the deck overlooking the water and the amazing sunsets. Thank you!"

It would have been helpful to know that it’s recommended to bring our own water. We both have back issues and found the bed uncomfortable. Close to Bar Harbor and many other awesome attractions. "

"This propeety was everything we expected and more. A large kitchen stocked with everything a cook would want. A farmer's porch to sit on and have your coffee while watching the lobster boats go in and out of the bay. The home is located on a sparsely populated peninsula perfect for de-stressing. Lots of hiking, waterfront exploring, wildlife and of course fresh seafood!"

"I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though"

"Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). "

"We stayed at the Dome Home for a quiet weekend away. This is the first VRBO that we took our dogs with, excuse the owner allowed pets. It was so great having them with us. My husband and I loved the comfortable king size bed and my kids loved the bunk beds. The kitchen and bathroom are separate from the Dome Home which was perfect for me because I got quiet, alone time while cooking. Perfect for moms! "We had a very nice stay at this secluded, peaceful home. It was the perfect set up for my spouse and I plus 2 adult kids who each brought along a friend. We spent a day in Acadia National park to see the sights and watch the sunset over Cadillac mountain. Other days we were content to stay in the home and play games, read a book, cook dinner in the kitchen or on the grill outside, go for a nature walk or just sit by the fire near the water. "Quiet and Secluded. We had a great time sitting around the fire, great memories, very clean, The kids had a great time. The top bunk mattress was fine for my 8 year old but would have been a bit stiff for me. My older son slept on the futon he loved it. Plenty of towels, The water heater is a small one but we could each get nice hot showers if we waited a bit between. It would reheat quickly for the next shower. "
