"Beautiful location and home. The kids (and parents) found plenty of room to play games, find quiet space, and eat together. Slept so well and enjoyed one of our favorite things about the Island - the rocky beaches!! This home is spectacular and takes me back to special memories of visits to the island over the past 4 decades. Fires and sunsets on the beach and only a 'stones throw' from Schoolhouse Beach. Perfect for this family of 5. We are so grateful for Bill, he was a great communicator and...

"Our family had a great time at the lodge. It was in a nice area. The lodge was well kept and a great place to kick back and soak in all the wildlife. Definitely will have to come back visit. "

"Having never stayed at the Waterbury we didn't know what to expect but ended up enjoying our stay there. The hotel overall is kept clean. The 2 bedroom loft plus pullout bed provided decent room for 5 of us, including 3 adult children. The grill and gas fire pit with seating area out front is very nice. Both pools (indoor/outdoor) and hottub were clean and provided an enjoy spot to spend time in the water. The grounds of the resort are maintained very well too. Only the landscape islands...

"Our stay at Carols cottage was absolutely amazing. The cottage was adorable and exactly as pictured. We ended up getting hit by a pretty bad storm with downed trees around the area and loss of power. Carol and her husband showed up immediately with comforting words and supplies! We are so happy we found this little gem in Baileys Harbor. Can’t wait for our next stay!!"

"This was our second stay in the Guest House. Everything was spotless and the owners are attentive and helpful. We had a group of 4 "seniors" and the location was perfect as a base for visiting all parts of Door County."

"Stunning location, beautiful touches, and such a sense of warmth, joy, and charm. The loft just welcomes you in a homey, comforting embrace. The king bed is heavenly. Hosts are kind, generous, attentive, communicative, and gracious. This is one of my favorite VRBOs. Definitely a special place."

"What an adorable cottage. So cute and homey. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. Was very comfortable for 2 couples and 3 teenage girls. Plenty of towels and lots of toiletries. Comfy beds. Very close to lots of activities and restaurants, but also very quiet. Comfy beds. Good selection of games and DVDs. One bathroom - be aware. Wasn't at all an issue for us (even with 3 teenage girls). We all loved it and would absolutely stay there again."

We went to a fish boil, took family pictures on our own beach with the lighthouse in the background, played pickleball, cornhole, went kayaking, took in a play, walked to the lighthouse, made meals at home, went out to eat two or three times, took hikes in the state parks, and just hung out as a family and played games...

"Can't beat the location for an incredible view of the Cana lighthouse. House is clean, well maintained and has everything you need. Wonderful place to unplug and unwind. Highly recommend for a peaceful haven."
