"I love the convenience to Freeport shopping, the interstate and the quietness. The rooms are great, but I feel like. The carpets could’ve been a little cleaner and the vent in our bathroom did not work as well as it could have overall it was a great day. Would stay there again."

"Location to the busy areas of Freeport is steps away from this quiet oasis. Very nice innkeepers and staff will be there to make your stay pleasant while allowing you the privacy of a hotel guest. We stayed one night on our way home from mid coastal Maine and enjoyed our stay. "

"We had a room on the first floor on the dock. Beautiful views and surprisingly quiet considering it was adjacent to a very active waterfront. The property is very central to the shops and restaurants in downtown Boothbay Harbor. The staff person who checked us in at a different property that was in common ownership recommend some excellent dining options. "I think the listing photos on Expedia need to be retaken—this place is actually much more luxurious and cleaner than they suggest. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our stay even better. Breakfast was excellent, especially the omelets packed with fresh vegetables and cheese. There’s a large supermarket within walking distance, which was very convenient. I also really appreciated that extra beds were provided free of charge."

"This was a great option for us. We were heading north to Bar Harbor from Portland and wanted to spend the night. The hotel was convenient from the highway, clean, great dining/shopping options close, and the breakfast was great. The staff was helpful and the beds were comfortable. Great way to start our trip."
