"I had a nice two night stay at the Blackstone. It’s well maintained, clean and staff are friendly. It’s near the river and was a 5-10 minutes walk to the Art Institute and Auditorium Theatre. Bath products were lovely and the robe was so comfy. I was a solo female traveller and I felt very safe and comfortable at this property. Two small considerations: the restaurant closes by 10. Coming home from the theatre, it would have been nice to have a nightcap option that didn’t require an uber ride....

"The hotel was extremely clean but the room itself reminded me of a nice condo, not a luxury hotel. Our room looked right into an apartment building with no view of the water. The restaurants, which were excellent, were highly overpriced, more so than at other nice restaurants in the city. We could not use their car service as the driver left before 8pm. The pool and gym are the highlights of the hotel. The staff were also incredibly kind and attentive. Note that valet parking is priced per...
