"This historic home was extremely well-furnished with lots of interesting decor and books to look at and a comfy couch. Each room has its own mini-split AC, and could control the temp separately. I loved the design of the kitchen with plenty of supplies for cooking and a coffee pot. The bed was so luxurious and comfy, it was perfect for the overnight stay. "My dogs and I loved our stay at The Latch House Barn! The decor and fittings are top-notch, yet also durable enough to accommodate furry friends. The fenced yard was a very welcome amenity for weary travelers, as was the picturesque, eminently-walkable town of Arrow Rock. Only detractor from a perfect visit was the baffling absence of any toilet paper in any bathroom, or anywhere in the house that I was able to find! A one-off oversight, I’m sure. Would love to stay longer next time, and explore...

"This place was exactly as it was described. The king bed was a little hard, but it was memory foam so if you waited, it conformed to you. It was a perfect place for what we needed. They have everything you need. Including an instapot. I will atay there again if it is available the next time we come here."

"Very nice, large historic home! Kitchen was updated and well stocked. Location was excellent, walking distance to downtown. Bedrooms were large with plenty enough room for all 10 of us. We will be renting again."

"Absolutely had a wonderful experience. From the time we booked the stay and even after we departed. We feel that Jill went above our expectations of what a good host would be and the home was immaculate. This was our first experience renting a VRBO and because of this stay it will not be our last. We will be back. "

"Attending an out of state family reunion. Home is exactly as described and was very clean. Kitchen had items to make your stay easy should you decide to cook. If not DQ is two blocks away! "

"Was great place! Very big nice things to do. Could not get tvs to work. Rooms are not very private which was ok but if looking to have privacy, would not be for you."

"Lois has a wonderfully appointed tiny home on her farm, with every detail thoughtfully curated. The bonus bed/futon was a nice surprise as it meant I didn’t have to share a bed with my 6’1” son. The snacks and water were also a nice end to an exhausting day on the trail. I might only suggest a new shower head to help overcome the showers size. "

"First impression was the same as pictured. It was clean and open. Didn’t have time to utilize the whole house but the upstairs bathroom is very nice and roomy and beds were comfortable. "
