"My mom, my son, her dog, our dog (both small), and I stayed for three nights while visiting family in the area. The property was great for us! The house is well kept, cute, and welcoming with everything you could need provided. The only negatives for me are that the mattresses were very firm and the train going through just down the street with the whistle blowing at night and early morning. Overall, it was great. I would stay here again. "

"We took a trip to this quaint township to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. We love historical sites and this entire tiwnship is a historical site. Also came to experience the Lyceum Theater's play of A Christmas Carol, which was phenomenal and enjoyed a meal at the local J. HOUSTON'S tavern . The cottage was a very fun experience with history dripping in every corner but boasting all the modern conveiences that one would need. Will definitely recommend visiting this little town and...

"My Husband and I enjoyed our stay in the adorable cottage. Center of town, enjoyed all that Arrow Rock has to offer. The home is very well appointed for. The kitchen has a plethora of all the tools one would need to cook anything. We only made coffee, everything is neat and tidy. The decor is wonderful and had we had more time I would have picked one of the many books and read on the screened in porch. I did have my morning breakfast on the side patio while listening to birds brighten my day....

"The owner has made this an inviting place to stay with the manner it was decorated and stocked. We enjoyed having coffee on the front porch and the side patio due to the warmer temperatures during our stay. Very close to Fort Cavazos, HEB grocery and the airport. "

"We came into town for our son‘s wedding and had a marvelous day spending time with family and friends playing games and enjoying the eclectic atmosphere it was a very unique and fun time"

"The house is set in a typical small town “well lived and loved” neighborhood—one that I happened to have been raised in as a young person, so I loved it! It made a great gathering place for me, my sister, and cousins. Plenty of space to hang out in the sitting rooms or playing games around the table. But the best spot was on the front porch! "

"Very nice, large historic home! Kitchen was updated and well stocked. Location was excellent, walking distance to downtown. Bedrooms were large with plenty enough room for all 10 of us. We will be renting again."
